Jun 27th 2007 6:04PM I would definitely see this movie!
WoW lore FTW!
Jun 27th 2007 2:57PM I work at a gaming center/internet cafe, so playing WoW in public is my job. It's also kind of my job to promote the game so people will play it, as it's one of the most popular games here.
Before I worked at a gaming center, I used to work at a pizza parlour where a guy would come in, order a slice and a coke, and play WoW for 6 hours on our tables, stealing the wireless from next door's cafe.
I always bring my laptop with me wherever I go (and it runs wow amazingly, surprisingly) so if I'm stuck somewhere for long periods of time (airports are no fun) I plug myself into the nearest outlet, sit down and log in. People pretty much keep to themselves unless they play the game as well, then they start up conversations about races, factions, classes, etc. I even had people ask me if they could check their mail/AH on my laptop before their flight left! :)
Where I live, there's not much for people to do so almost everyone plays WoW. You can go into any place out here and have a group of people discussing the game. Even at parties, people will form a group and talk about WoW for hours. :D
