Aug 19th 2008 10:45PM Edboy, that is hardly hivemind you failtard. It's a 9-minute difference between the two posts. Lurk moar plz
Feb 20th 2008 8:22AM Everything in my playlist, but I usually listen to one group at a time.
I've been on a big kick of 'Angels and Airwaves' because it's a very mellow and trippy band to listen to while I grind up my new Pally.
I'll also throw in Nightwish and Kamelot to liven things up a bit as well as Metallica when I get in the mood =)
Feb 18th 2008 11:34AM Very true words about leaving while an officers, but I feel that the same also applies to a Guild Leader.
In my first real big raiding guild, our GM had to bow out for school and left the guild in the hands of a married couple (two of our officers and most faithful members)
Things ran fine, and under this new leadership we pushed past Vael (the guild killer) and even finished BWL! But, once we couldn't kill Nef again (I guess we all forgot after one kill) the two GMs decided a sudden /gdisband was in order.
Of course it left 40+ people without a home, and these two already had a place linded up cause they knew they were going to disband.
Just, anyone who is thinking about leaving, be it an officer or GM. Talk to someone. Get a successor, and tell your companions. Don't burn bridges and if you're the GM of a strong guild, pass on the torch if you're burned out.
Feb 18th 2008 9:11AM Helm of the Stalwart Defender.
I would normally keep my dps helm off visable but once I had to tank I would turn on the graphics to stand in my blue, can opening glory.
Aug 28th 2007 8:10AM I see it, personally, as a way to to almost weed out more dedicated players and reward them with the "high end content".
In no way do I agree with it, but that'd what I believe these attunement chains try to accomplish. They also act as diversions from the main goal to keep these dedicated players bashing their head against the wall until they break through to the content. More play time. More money for blizz.
Also.. I think Blizz is noting that too extreme of a chain just keeps people from even trying. Didn't the req. for CoT: Hyjal require an actual kill of Lady Vashj and Kel'thas before it was lowered to just have access? ... ... unless I'm mistaken which I have an odd feeling I am.
Aug 25th 2007 8:49AM In all seriousness, I'd say Azshara for all the reasons stated above.
But my personal choice? --- Silithus.
Why? One word. sandlol
Aug 18th 2007 9:33PM From a lore and skill perspective I would put the fight in Vaels favor due to his age and not only association with the red dragonflight but his enhanced abilities by being corrupted by Nefarion. Kazzak may have a senior position in the legion but I don't think his experiences compare.
@2 - We run the assumption that they have EQUAL health, not full.. in such a case Vael would definitly wipe the floor with Kazzak.
Regardless my vote still goes to Vael. Even without BA (which may be considered an instant kill since it bases damage upon % of health) his flame breath debuffs would wreck Kazzak who I don't think has the equal amount of fire power... pun not intended.
If BA is allowed? Kazzak would be dead before he even enrages.
