Jul 7th 2009 8:38AM Do you play a healer ? I would have quit long ago if I couldn't use Pitbull + Clique to heal 5-mans and raids with my priest. I don't get how people can stand clicking on an health bar, then hit a shortcut key.
And you should try leveling your alts with Tourguide + tomtom + ligthheaded, makes me feel like I'm on autopilot, and at the same time I get to do quests I had missed on my main. So for me it's main = no lvling addons to discover the new content, alts = Tourguide + tomtom + ligthheaded to rush to lvl cap :)
Jul 3rd 2009 11:34AM The Earthworm Jim series was awesome, so were Aladdin and Jungle Book (my favorite Sega Genesis game for months on end), MDK was great, but after that the quality of David Perry's games really went down. Messiah was OK but disappointing compared to the hype, and the Matrix games were just aweful. Nowadays he's just a standard (some would say sub-par) game designer living on his former fame.
Back on topic, seems like an interesting (but not new) idea, could be very useful when traveling. And the use of an authenticator limits the risks of having your account stolen.
Jul 1st 2009 5:19AM I'll have the chicken please :)
Jan 9th 2009 2:52AM I don't know if this is related to this issue, but a funny thing has been happening to me recently : on my disc priest, when there is a holy priest in the raid, Surge of light will proc now and then, even though I don't have the talent.
Sep 19th 2008 7:26PM What's really interesting with the Elemental Seaforium Charges is that it's a reagent for the Flying Machine. So they can sell nicely on the AH, since not every engineer is interested in grinding yet another reputation just to get a couple of reagents.

Jul 2nd 2007 4:23AM @10 : I have a lvl 70 priest AND a girlfriend. It's totally possible to enjoy wow and have a great social life.
Of course, it took me some time to get to 70, and after a week of intensive playing once I got there, I've cut down my playtime, so I expect to make my way through HL content more slowly than my guildmates. I'll try securing a night or two per week to do dungeons (at HL PVE, it's not worth it if you can't play for 4 hours in a row).
The point is, always keep in mind what's important in your life (Google for a couple of horror stories about mmorpg addiction gone bad to help you do that :). Don't turn down your friends when they call you to hang out, don't be afraid to leave a group if your GF wants to go out for the night ; politely excuse yourself and just leave... Granted, it's harder to do that when you're midway through an instance... If people start cursing at you for giving priority to real life, just stop playing with them, they're not worth it. Find in-game friends, or a guild, that see the game the same way you do, and have fun with them :)
Don't let the game eat up your social and professional life, and you'll still be able to enjoy it.
PS : I hope my english do not suck too much :) (being french and all...)
