15 Minutes of Fame: Deep Space Nine's Nog gets his BG on, part 2 {WoW}

May 19th 2010 12:38PM I just wanted to say thank-you to all the readers that posted comments. I truly appreciate the kind words and enthusiasm all of you displayed towards the article and myself. And thanks for watching the show! If it wasn't for all the people watching Star Trek, I would have never had the opportunity to play Nog. :) I also wanted to thank Lisa on a job well done. She did a terrific job on the interview and I'm sure it wasn't easy sifting through my long winded dialogue. As you can tell in the article, I talk a lot!! Hence, the two parter to the interview!! And Lisa made it happen!! Thank-you very much Lisa. Also, I wanted to give my best to Krall, the person who posted above with the kidney transplant. Thank-you for your comment and I wish you all the best. You can achieve anything. You just have to put everything you have into it and be as tenacious as possible without sacrificing your integrity. If you do, no matter what happens, you will always be able to look back and know you gave it everything you had. Failure is not trying. :) Follow your dreams wherever they may take you. I wish the best to you and everyone!! Thanks again for reading the article and I'm glad all of you enjoyed it. If you see me in the BGs, /salute and bring it on!!!! :)

Drama Mamas: Mismatched ambitions in the Dungeon Finder {WoW}

Dec 26th 2009 5:45PM First of all, I love the new LFG. It's a lot of fun and I enjoy the randomness of what I might be running, the varying people I play with and of course all the emblems and gold. Well done Blizz!! But I have run into a one major issue with the kick feature. This experience happened to me twice, on two different toons with people from the same server and same guild. I was running UK H with 2 people from Advent Fury and two from Tsunami, both guilds from Hyjal. The healer began asking me all sorts of questions throughout the run, talking about the LFG tool. I actually thought he might be a GM or GD with all the questions as well as the friendliness of the dialogue. No one else in the group said a word, which I have noticed has become par for the course. Well, as we were coming to the last boss, the player that was asking me all the questions, asked me a very random question about Lysol. When I answered, he said "Wrong" and immediately they all kicked me from the group. This was obviously their ploy all along. At first I was surprised and unsure what happened. I thought this was abusive and cruel. I looked up the players and found them from the guilds mentioned above. When this happened a second time to me, on another toon, I found out the three of the players came from the same guild, Ardent Fury, as before. This is the only part of the new LFG that as really annoyed and bothered. Now I run the instances always a bit concerned if I'm running with 3+ people from the same server. I hope there could be a work around this kind of abuse.
