Jun 28th 2007 2:55PM Gah. I don't know how we can be clearer about this. This is a company that was involved in selling gold to players in the US, and allowing players to sell gold to one-another overseas. In the US, they hate gold-selling, so we got rid of the part of the company that sells gold in the US. Overseas, the auction business is approved of not only by the players but the publishers as well. We're doing our best to play by the rules here.
Jun 28th 2007 2:48PM Hey--Cyamarin here, I work for John. Just wanted to let you know we apologize for the...er, "low standards" of the current ad content. Wowhead's moving over to a new ad server, so as a result we're still trying to get all of our ad campaigns up and running properly--a lot of negotiating has to be done. In the meantime, the ads that wind up getting displayed on the site are the "lower standards", annoying ads. If you do see any annoying ads--popups, popunders, expanding ads, ads that flash, ads that cover the content, or ads that make noise--please send me an email at cyamarin (at) zam.com so that we can talk to our ad providers and take them down.
