Sep 29th 2011 6:01AM @Chacha Chaudhary What about Epic, Crytek, Infinity Ward and about 100 other "console" developers who made a lot of money on the PC and then decided that crappy ports of their console games are good enough for PC gamers?
Sep 16th 2011 4:08AM @milespieri But, but... everyone knows Lucasarts and Lucasfilm only do Star Wars!
Sep 1st 2011 7:57AM @Excessive Maybe it's karma... or maybe it's the gaming gods punishing them for not making a PC version.

No wonder Valve has money if they remove games from publishers who refuse to give them 30% of DLC sales.... ;)

What if it's Valve who doesn't want to sell the game because they want to control over the DLC / don't want the game to install a competing store?
You know... just like when D2D refused to sell MW2 because it came with Steam...
Only back then everyone said how stupid D2D is... and now that Valve seems to be doing the exact same thing, everyone is defending them. O_O

Origin or not... in BC:BF2 (and any other EA game) you need to login with your EA account anyway (even if you get it on Steam) so they'll have your precious info anyway.
What Origin brings is:
1) cross-game friend list (right now each EA game has a separate friend list, which is really annoying)
2) the option to download the game anytime (like EA downloader before it but much better)
Apr 19th 2011 2:15PM @VeeDeeVee When I checked my "backpack" for the first time I actually got a free hat (it sells for $2.50 in the store). I think it's from some single player achievement (maybe for finishing the single player campaign).
Apr 19th 2011 2:12PM @Drakkenfyre No, the people who will spend money on that are...
Apr 18th 2011 6:30AM Funny, how a blog called "Massively" is most popular with haters of the only really massive MMO.

Crysis 1 was only released on the PC and it brought them enough money to:
- expand their studio for console development
- buy another studio
