Nov 6th 2008 7:06PM I succesfully left WoW for Spore, haven't looked back, my account's still active for another week, not even going to log in again.
Sep 14th 2008 5:07PM as annoying as lol abuse will be (yay now the center of SW will be like running thu shat, I really really hate the sound of belf and draenei laughter), I think potentially more abusive will be mail abuse if it tracks total mail sent, imagine logging in to find 1000 mails from your buddy (at a cost of 30g) and having to go thru and delete them all to get to your real mail, yeah you could report spam, but if it's a friend do you really want to get your friends in trouble? (not the first time, but after that it'd be fair I think)
Sep 13th 2008 6:26PM Sweet, now my (warrior) bank alt will get cool looking gear that isn't grey and isnt cloth!
Sep 4th 2008 9:11PM I'm sure the intention was that the friend doing the recruiting would lend or give money and gear to the recruited friend, also the recruiter would likely aid the recruited in learning their abilities. If you're encountering newly level 59 RAF recruited players in level 26 greens, then the one who recruited them likely isn't being a very good friend.
Sep 4th 2008 8:57AM I think my toons would say, upon death:
Sep 3rd 2008 8:31PM This is indeed a cool change, but until it goes live, you know whenever you're playing on your laptop, your keybindings and macros are stored in text files (just explore your WoW directory you'll find them), you could just copy them from your main PC to your laptop.
Aug 26th 2008 7:13PM I would use my powers to bring peace to the world, end all wars once and for all. It worked for Palpatine and Anakin, right?
Aug 14th 2008 4:55PM I call shenanigans. First, not many 7 year old boys are going to want to play a female toon, most boys that age would find that idea too "girly" and 7 is too young to want to stare at "fine animated backside". Second, the spelling and grammar mistakes look like someone older trying to impersonate the writing abilities of a child, he misspells "diffikult" but gets the much harder to spell "succesful" correct, uses u and you in the same sentence (I would imagine using one or the other thoughout), spells hahah and hahaa and after the latter does the whole !1 as if he let go of shift too soon. Finally, the only people I have ever seen refer to levels as "years" are Roleplayers who are desperately trying to refer to their level in some in-universe-appropriate fashion (I prefer other words, level does not equal age), and I've met young gamers who know exactly what a level is and that the character can be a different age than their level. Overall good "troll" it got mention here so it must have fooled some people.
