Jul 27th 2010 6:15PM I'd look good flying on that
Jul 8th 2010 1:06PM This is not that big of a deal, really. I'm not just saying that to be different. I'm not unaware about privacy concerns. It's just not that big of a deal. You are not giving out credit card info, SSN, home address, some sort of physical description or even your email address.
There are plenty of people who's first and last name are displayed frequently all over the place and they are not loosing their identity based on it. Just chillax everyone, it'll be ok.
Mar 21st 2010 6:24PM The problem is that when anyone makes a comment that isn't status quo it gets down rated into nothingness regardless of how well it is written or the merit of the points made. Comments that get down rated should still have the option to be illuminated by the person viewing the page. Having to copy and paste comments that others decided aren't good enough for my viewing is fairly off putting and one of the reasons it's hard to read the comments seriously sometimes.
Mar 18th 2010 12:49PM "A lot of people take the "be funny" thing and use it as an excuse to crack crappy puns or knock-knock jokes. They don't work."
So you're saying
Woman: ...um...who's there?
Man: Me and you in bed all night long!!! GIGITY!"
Doesn't work? Damn.
Also, on a more serious note. I think people assume 5 levels have to be a certain amount of time apart. If we get 5 levels that take double the xp than we think is needed than we end up with 10 levels of leveling just with less stat gain which probably makes adjusting our power levels a bit easier and/or less ridiculous
Mar 12th 2010 1:12PM Would have been cooler a few weeks ago. At this point so many people have had them jerk looted away it seems like 90% of the people I get in random groups just needs now anyway.
On a much more important topic. I agree ninja's are too cool to keep being used as a description of someone who steals gear. I say we make a hard push to change it to something else. Jerk loot works but there has to be something else that flows better. Just, what can it be?
Mar 10th 2010 12:20PM "This is the default behavior for most websites, and is relatively standard since the early 1990s. If you don't like it, you can control-click the link on most browsers and platforms, or right click and select "Open in new tab" (or window)."
Not only is it bad from a marketing standpoint as someone else pointed out. It hasn't be the default behavior of most websites I visit since the early 2000s. Sorry, the Q is generally full of excellent useful information but get with the times on this. People want open in new tab!!! THE PEOPLE SPEAK!.... maybe it's not that big of a deal though?
Mar 10th 2010 2:51AM Kids gotta stroke their epeen somehow, I suppose lol. No worries about people leaving early or what ever, just ignore them if they bother you and never group with them again. Woooo cross realm ignore.
As for the I don't heal people who brag about their numbers guy. Lol what a bad healer you are, don't need to see the numbers to prove that. If people want to trumpet their recount numbers around and it bothers you ignore them, don't gimp the rest of the group by letting a dps die.
Mar 6th 2010 4:48PM Agreed.
Auctioneer is good Auctionator is better, at least for my purposes.
Feb 24th 2010 12:55PM "Do you feel like blue posts are telling enough? Are they in a good place in terms of giving out information?"
I don't know of any game developer that communicates with it's player based 1/16th as much as blue posts from blizzard do. I agree that they are knocking it out of the park so no accusations if being a fan boy here.
Feb 24th 2010 12:44PM It's really not as skewed as it seems. It just seems that more horde players are outspoken and make themselves known on forums and other websites.
