Aug 8th 2007 2:16AM A pink glowy shield is the -definition- of cool, ya jerk.
Aug 6th 2007 8:02AM Family First as a general concept is ridiculous, in my opinion. Not only does it conflict with the rule "Safety First" (which is infinitely more valuable, I might add,) but your family doesn't really benefit you in any way. Children are just annoying and cost a *lot* of money, elders need taking care of, equals constantly gripe, etc. Self first is where it's at.
Aug 4th 2007 4:55AM Gragh. Lucky bastards. My laptop only goes up to 1280x728. Sucks.
Well, that's slightly inaccurate. It will actually go way up to 2048x1536, but it won't all display at once, I have to scroll around the screen. I reiterate, gragh.
Jul 26th 2007 12:42AM ...Massive generalizations.
There are more than two, or even 3 as some have suggested, groups of people. Many, many variables take place here and they aren't so finite.
Myself for example, I could care less about Harry Potter. I see the movies when I'm bored, but the books are oh so boring and I can't stand it. But I don't go around posting spoilers, rather I readily accept them. I'm down with people telling me spoilers.
As for the game part, I'm a general gamer, I play action games, MMORPGS, offbeat, platformers, adventure, whatever. I don't get addicted because it's hard to hold my interest. Like, WoW is really boring sometimes and it feels like a chore.
But still, I had to do something over the summer. So basically, I like what I like and generalizations aren't all that applicable.
Jul 25th 2007 9:34PM Please...stop saying "we." It's really annoying. You're not the King of All Cosmos.
Jul 17th 2007 5:28AM Alhough I've never even touched the Gorefiend quest, couldn't you exit with his awesome abilities and keep them?
Jul 16th 2007 8:43PM Doublewide? Pfft. Beql FTW. Bayi's, I think, Extended Quest Log. It's basically DoubleWide but cooler.
Jul 6th 2007 7:18AM Well, here's what I think.
1. If he/she is a "Drama Queen," per se, then I don't like him/her.
2. Therefore if they have suicidal tendencies, try to goad them into doing it. Less hassle for everyone, and it's economical! (They're not going to be wasting more of Earth's natural resources from then on, eh?)
P.S. Bigger than a breadbox = win
Jul 3rd 2007 11:39PM You know, I'm a hunt and peck typist.
Well, actually, just a peck now, since I'm so used to hitting the keys I already know where they are...but I still have to look down a the keyboard. I'm relatively fast, though. I do make a LOT of typos, but I either fix them as I'm typing or if I notice them I correct it. A simple "[previously misspelled word/phrase now correctly spelled]*" suffices.
To the point, chatspeak and leetspeak is unbearable. I'm 14, I peck. Yet I don't type like a slobbering imbecile. Honestly, I don't know how massive typos and shorthand became the thing to do. It doesn't make sense. People sound infinitely more idiotic when doing so.
Thank you for this article.
Jul 3rd 2007 9:07PM First off, great articles. I look forward to the review of MazzleUI.
However, it has come to my attention that you don't really proofread what you write, and it's kind of annoying. Not to be a "grammar nazi," per se, but I've taken the liberty if pointing out all that I could find incorrect with this article, English language-wise.
A. "CTMod and Cosmos enhances..."
B. "Finally, one of Cosmos unique aspects is its partnership with ThottBot."
I don't know if "Cosmos" is plural or not, but there has to be some possessive there...I'll go with "Cosmos's."
D. "Here in," "Straight forward," "Other wise"
You don't need spaces in any of them, they're compound words.
E. "If you don't install or delete one by accident then Cosmos will not work."
"Don't?" I assume that was accidental.
Just so you know.
