Sep 25th 2008 8:47AM The problem with trying a phased approach would be you then are requiring all 70s to go through the quests for Missing Diplomat and the Onyxia chain before allowing them access to the Northrend quests
Sep 19th 2008 4:16PM I think the best way to really level when the expansion comes out is just constant instance grinds with guildies. The problem with questing is that everyone and their mother will be out in the two starting zones fighting for mob spawns. Dungeons on the other hand will be brim full of mobs just for you to kill. Another option I just considered would be to take your group of 5 and just completely skip the first two starting zones and just go into Dragonblight or Grizzly hills. You may miss some of the cross over quests, but the population should be more manageble
Sep 19th 2008 9:14AM 9.99 for thunderfury! Clearly Blizzard is catering to the casuals again, first welfare epics, now welfare legendaries!
Sep 18th 2008 12:43PM I'm more concerned about them trying to make out Arthas to be conflicted. I'm really worried that in Wrath they are going to throw something in so that Arthas is redeemed or something. I have always felt he is pretty much outright evil and needs to be destroyed, no "learning of the errors of his ways" or "the lich king made me do it".
Sep 17th 2008 12:09PM Have various factions been implemented yet in Northrend? Also how about reputation gear?
Sep 16th 2008 9:29AM I would love tailoring to get some type of battle standard recipe. Have it just be cosmetic but either placed in the ground, or even just strapped to your back while mounted.
Sep 16th 2008 8:14AM That actually makes me a bit less upset seeing as I am a Shaman and have to spend 6 points to get mana tide which restores 6% total mana every 3 seconds for 12 seconds.
Sep 15th 2008 2:08PM Is there anymore information on heirloom items? I saw screenshots of the lvl 1 and lvl 80 versions, but nothing in between. Do the stats change every lvl or every 5 or 10? Can you use enchant the item on your 70 character with a top end enchant and then give it to your lvl 1
Sep 11th 2008 4:43PM Been a shaman since the beginning but only have been resto so can't really comment on elemental or enhance. The one thing I will say about the resto tree is that I wish Restorative Totems would get looked at. The only reason anyone puts 5 points in to that skill would be to get access to Mana Tide. Either increase what the ability does or reduce some of the points needed to get to Mana Tide
Sep 11th 2008 2:32PM Very cool, though it looks like the mail shoulders dont have a similar change, but that could just be because it is still beta. Will still be very strange to be staring at coat hangers for 80 levels. Though if you can't get these items over to other realms or factions I probably wont be leveling a second shaman on the same realm anyways.
