Forum post of the day: Vicarious' legend {WoW}

Aug 8th 2008 2:27PM When they release a legendary healing staff (which they will), I hope a shaman takes your orange because it had some mega +heals on it for the 2 chain heals he throws per run. Using your logic... you kept people alive this long, you obviously don't need better gear.
/FAIL

Aug 7th 2008 10:58AM Since this is probably one of the FIRST instances where a rogue got this bow over 2 hunters... doesn't that tell ya something.

Aug 7th 2008 10:55AM Small problem with your argument... in 4 months, it won't be end game.

Aug 7th 2008 10:47AM I agree with you, except, how does range haste help nonhuneter classes?

Aug 7th 2008 10:42AM Don't worry Tums and Zzerg, you'll see this bow again... when you inspect that douchebag of a rogue.

Aug 7th 2008 10:32AM LOLZ!!
As a player that has almost every class at lvl 70, the only one I would roll on this with is my hunter.
If I heard this happen over guild chat, I would /gquit right there.
That's one of the lamest things I've ever heard. Way to go! Lame for the loot master, lame for the rogue who took it.
But he don't give a damn.. he's got his 3 legendaries.. enjoy you RTard!
I hope all your hunters leave!

Aug 7th 2008 10:21AM Actually, he didn't roll on it.. he got it outright.

Forum post of the day: Vicarious' legend {WoW}

Aug 7th 2008 10:17AM All I can say is 'Wow'... I'd /gquit as soon as the bow hit the rogue's inventory. I'd be pissed if a rogue ROLLED on it, let alone got it outright.
It's an obvious lack of judgment case. When distributing loot, you have to be objective, not subjective. This is a hunter's bow.. period. You're basically saying "As long as I (or my close buddies) have something better, the loot is distributed fairly". Good call. Move to Cuba and enjoy a fun life run by a dictator.
I pass all the time on daggers/swords that are better for rogues. Sure, I'd like to have them, but it's the rogue's main source of damage... just like a bow is a hunter's.
This is one of the main reasons I don't play as much as I used to. I found one idiotic/egotistical/misplaced decision can really create a rift in relationships. Yes it's just a game, but how hard would you want to play knowing that you may not even have a chance at a drop that is rightfully yours to at least roll on. There was a real opportunity here that has come and gone... FAIL

Hunter pet aggro may be fixed in Wrath {WoW}

Jul 24th 2008 4:14PM I agree with Charcuterie... I have at least one of each class and hunter is by far easiest to solo (plus it's my fav). It's called Aggro Management... is that hard to understand. I used Feign Death regularly. I am also BM so I have Intimidation which I use all the time. When you're higher levels, there's Misdirect. After a night of soloing with my lvl 70 hunter, my repair bill is around 20s. Try doing that with any other class.

If you want aggro issues, try playing a Mage. Better yet, try soloing with a Mage or a Priest... you'll know the locations of all the graveyards real quick.

Scattered Shots: Hunter problems and predictions {WoW}

May 16th 2008 4:06PM I too think hunters are fine. I have a hunter as my main and I love playing him. He's by far the most versatile (solo, group, raid, pvp) for me to play.
I admit I don't play much arena, but when I did play LOS was my biggest problem/annoyance. IF (and that's a big 'if') they want to do something about having more hunters represented, they should add a flat and/or larger arena where hunters would really shine. That way you'd have a 1 in 4 chance of getting a hunter-friendly arena. I really don't see why they have all the pillars and such in the arenas anyway... when I do BG, there's very few intances where the enemy I'm fighting can run and hide... why not in arenas too? Is that too simplistic?.. or am I missing something?
I pretty much have 1 of every class, so I really don't care that much if class X is OP or what have you. I've seen posts where people rate hunters as 'Easy' to kill, and I've seen posts where hunters are hated because of the 'I win' button. I hope the seemingly QQ'ing going on for hunters isn't actual QQ'ing. Yes, every class wants to be the most OP, but please, hunters, /deep breath /relax
If any class has a right to QQ, it's the once feared shaman.
