The long wait for a Green Proto-drake {WoW}
Jun 19th 2009 4:26PM Don't get angry, but I got the proto drake on my very first egg....then....got another one on my second egg too! It's sitting in my bank right now, so I do have proof of it. I can't sell, DE, or do anything but destroy the second one, which I can't bring myself to do, considering the number of people who still want one.
I have since lost interest in the eggs, to say the least. I think I got a proto drake whelp, a tickbird, and a white tickbird on my next 3, and then decided I would stop worrying about it. I haven't been back to Sholozar much.

May 8th 2009 6:58PM I'm a fan of the Frost Wyrm screen, but I do recall the first time I every logged in, thinking how cool the loading screen was.
The BC one was "meh" in my opinion.

May 8th 2009 5:10PM The DPS you are going to need will vary based on your group and their make-up.
In general, I look for at LEAST 1500 for heroics. If you quested in Icecrown and ran some regular dungeons in the 77-80 range, then there is little excuse for anything less. If you aren't doing that, then it is a spell/shot rotation or spec issue that can easily be remedied by a few minutes of research.
In 25 mans, my guild personally has a minimum requirement of 2500, but even that may be a little but lax. The top 10 on recount for our 25 mans are all above 3k.

Breakfast Topic: Why reroll? {WoW}
Mar 2nd 2009 10:25AM I first started with a NE druid, got to level 24, still had no greens for gear, etc.
I simply hated wearing only leather....so a friend made a mage and I made a paladin, and I deleted the druid and moved on.
I was so happy to be able to wear mail armor you wouldn't believe it.
The Guild season 2 finale {WoW}
Feb 17th 2009 1:18PM I gotta say, I never thought much of this show and would always just bypass it when you guys would post about it.
But I decided once to give it a shot, and I'm glad I did. It's great to see the commentary that it provides on MMO gaming, and the characters are great and represent the many different types of people that do play WoW and other games.
Kudos to The Guild for another great season.

Breakfast Topic: Did you accomplish what you wanted during the Love festival? {WoW}
Feb 16th 2009 11:14AM Personally, I got every achievement except for the bag of candy one.
My first bag of candy, got 6 of the 8 different candies I needed.
Got my second bag on Friday, and got only 1 of the other 2 that I needed out of 10 pulls.
I then had to go away for a day, and came back last night, and failed to get a single bag of candy before the reset this morning.
Oh well. It's not the end of the world, I will just forever hate the phrase "BE MINE" as it has held me back from being a Love Fool.
