May 19th 2009 5:47PM Yes, there is. The part of the game that involves the relationship between a class's DPS and the armor it wears. You apparently have a great deal of difficulty with that aspect of the game.
As for insulting your intelligence, you're doing it for me.
May 19th 2009 5:17PM http://blue.mmo-champion.com/28/17222902965-design-question-why-isnt-armor-a-factor.html
In a nutshell, plate armor means nothing for DPS. Not only is it poorly itemized for PvE, it doesn't provide squat for protection in PvP. Two blue posts explaining in detail why you're wrong. I doubt you'll read them or understand them if you do read them. But here they are regardless.
Perhaps now we can finally, finally put that silly "plate armor aaahg' whine to rest.
May 14th 2009 12:45PM Yes, it would. It would totally kill them all dead to do that. Snakes would erupt from their eyes.
May 11th 2009 6:59PM The problem is, they can't balance warriors. They just keep nerfing them and when they start to get over it, they nerf them again. I stopped playing mine after BC came out, there's just no point.
May 11th 2009 6:57PM You'll notice when talking about Patchwerk style fights in Ulduar, GC specifically says that XT - 002 is a 'rogue and cat druid's dream" - basically, it's fine for a hybrid to do as much DPS as a pure class, as long as it's not a warrior. Before the savage nerfing to fury, warriors loved fights like XT, and now they can't even perform as well as another hybrid.
This is why I switched to pally. We actually can tank, DPS or heal as well as anyone, we're not second rate and told we're lucky to be there. I pity warriors because they're just plain useless, I'll never level mine to 70, much less 80.
Sure, Ret gets hit a lot in PvP, but I don't PvP anyway.
May 7th 2009 1:59PM "All I heard was QQ" is internet speak for "I don't agree with you so I'm dismissing what you said instead of pointing out where it's wrong, because that's beyond me." It's what people say when they can't think of anything else.
In other words, it's usually the people calling someone else's point "QQ" who are the complainers.
May 5th 2009 6:15PM Paladins have BoM, which is superior in every way to Battle Shout. Lasts longer, easier to apply. The only shout paladins don't directly have is Commanding in terms of raid buffs. Druids have Demo Shout effectively, and warlocks have Commanding if they break out their imps.
All a DPS warrior brings to a raid is DPS at this point. Rogues can provide the Arms Warrior Blood Frenzy debuff, you don't even need DPS warriors to sunder anymore.
May 5th 2009 6:12PM The justification for pure classes to do more DPS than hybrids is that DPS is what they bring. Rogues have Tricks of the Trade, various poisons (healing debuff, crippling, etc etc), and the bleed debuff that used to be unique to arms warriors if they spec for it.
If they get Bloodlust it's time to lower their DPS to match enh shamans.
Apr 30th 2009 6:20PM There's absolutely no way I can take you seriously after you made a post where you argued that rogue gear is poorly itemized compared to warrior gear.
That is how rogue gear is itemized.
That is how plate gear is itemized.
You just made your entire argument invalid. The Frosted Adroit are superior to the Ruthless Reprisals right now, and they're certainly not in any way poorly itemized.
