Jul 19th 2007 10:55AM From a holy priest healing perspective, 2 tanks can actually improve mana efficiency. If the 2 tanks are taking damage at about the same rate, Prayer of Mending will bounce between them up to 5 times, healing as necessary. This usually frees the priest to do some light DPS on the MT's target w/ SW:pain and some wanding. Plus PoM acts as a self-heal for whomever it lands on, so more aggro for the tanks, and less for the healer.

Any OS is subject to Trojans because infection is contingent on the user executing the code, instead of automatic replication. If you launch an application and authorize it by typing in your password, it's not really the fault of any OS if that application starts logging keystrokes or does a rm -rf /.
If, instead, we are talking about viruses then I would argue that, yes, OS X is more secure simply due to its UNIX underpinnings - especially the way user permissions are handled. Marketshare may play a part in OS X's relative security - but that is certainly not the only (or largest) factor.

Yeah, that's what I usually do, but it just seems kinda backwards to tell someone to drag a file to the Applications folder - and then hide the sidebar that contains it.
Sep 14th 2006 4:44PM Wouldn't the whole process be much easier if the DMG window did not automaticaly hide the Finder's sidebar which always has a quick link to the Applications folder? Is this a developer choice or an inherent property of DMGs?
That said, I am always happy when a developer chooses to put a link to the Apps folder in the DMG.
Sep 14th 2006 3:15PM How is the lens any different from Aperture at all?? The lens flare is exactly the same, and the only difference is that the new one is zoomed in to the inner 2 rings.
Mar 24th 2006 4:13PM At first I thought Mario's speed had been reduced, but then I noticed the guy wasn't holding down the run button. Nice.
It would have been nice if he had just plowed through to the next level instead of dying repeatedly trying to get those stars.
Sep 20th 2005 6:05PM 1. my Scientific Atlanta HD-DVR is pretty awesome. i've never used TIVO, but I understand it makes clicking noises as you fast-forward and that seems anoying. 2. seperate channels is stupid, esp. since TWC puts all HD channels in the 200 range and labels them as the local call letters (i.e. WRAL-HD and WRAL-SD) so its hard to know which one is CBS, NBC, etc. 3. so???? that's why we have DVR 4. how is HDMI is too many connectors?
