Blood Pact: Minions are people too {WoW}

May 26th 2009 1:25PM Actually the conflag glyph was not changed, but they left it in the patch notes.

May 14th 2009 8:06AM Piccolo of the Flaming Fire.

No better way to get a party started or annoy vast numbers of your own faction all at once. It should seriously be an epic item.

Fire and Brimstone buffed for patch 3.1.2 {WoW}

May 6th 2009 1:48PM You forgot to mention that the warlock casting it will be in full T8 gear and flasked, screwing around in a bg waiting for his Uld raid to form.

The poster complaining about it on the forums will also fail to mention, or even consider this.

Blood Pact: WTB Glyph of Haunt...anybody? {WoW}

Apr 20th 2009 3:14PM Highest possible affliction dps spec is 53/0/18, with two points in Demonic Power and the succubus out. (Or doomguard when off cooldown)

But note that for shorter fights such as heroics bosses, specs that ramp up their damage faster (e.g. destro and fel/ember) can easily end up with higher overall dps.

Blood Pact: Deep in the third tree {WoW}

Mar 17th 2009 9:12AM I know you would not go through the trouble of reviewing another variation on the same spec, but 7/7/57 really isn't all that popular to my knowledge (for raiding at least).

If you decide to give it a go in raids some time, try 2/13/56 with glyphs of CoA, Immo and Conflag: http://tinyurl.com/dh2vvc

I've been raiding as this spec for a while now, and consistently out-dps just about any class and spec out there, 10 or 25-man, depending on raid buffs. Granted, almost 2500 sp and 415 haste with fel armor and flask, so my gear helps. And I do find that including corruption helps dps a little, especially in more mobile fights. Also, during bloodlust/heroism AND backdraft, I tend to pop out on or two soulfires for a slight increase.

Officers' Quarters: Dual spec, double loot? {WoW}

Feb 16th 2009 1:23PM Basically what I was going to post.

First rolls go to people who can use it as their main spec. If nobody, then roll on off-spec. Nobody? Shard it.

If you have random people/pugs you aren't familiar with, their current spec counts as their "main" spec.

Encrypted Text: Why the 3.0.9 Rogue changes were necessary {WoW}

Feb 11th 2009 11:32AM As a warlock who is incredibly tired of being killed by mut rogues in pve gear before I can even get out of stun or do anything at all
(with 22k health and 600+ resil): Yay.

When AFK attacks redux {WoW}

Feb 9th 2009 2:54PM That is effing beautiful. Anyone who has a problem with it either plays on a pve server already, or should. Does it suck for the gnome? Sure. And he would have done the exact same thing given the opportunity.

Pvp servers are about conflict and competition with other players. That's the whole point. If you don't enjoy it, if you don't "get it", don't play on one.

Much like how some people only enjoy playing campaign or co-op modes in FPS style games, whereas others love the multiplayer competitive aspect. Neither one is right or wrong, just whichever experience you prefer.
