Feb 27th 2011 2:10PM The mocking incredulity of saying that LastPass "doesn't even support HSTS" is irresponsible at best. HSTS was submitted less than a year ago and has undergone revisions since. Its also not supported in a variety of situations.
Unless you are a security expert who can speak in-depth about the extensions vulnerability to man-in-the-middle attacks, I suggest you leave the FUD at the door.
As for me, this is the last straw. DLS is off my newsfeeds once and for all.
Dec 30th 2010 3:11PM Kensington Diamondeye is a fantastic, affordable mouse with two giant buttons where your thumb goes. I graduated to a g700 this year, but I could not play without that Diamondeye.
Oct 6th 2009 11:40AM Pittsburgh is awesome. In fact, Adams and the Blizzard team should relocate to Pittsburgh, because then maybe living there will give them first hand experience with issues like traffic lag in major thoroughfares and what crappy expansion planning can do to your future.
Feb 27th 2009 10:14AM The point is you aren't even taking "the class". You're taking a singular mechanic, that most priests I've met abhor in the first place, and saying "ok Priest, lrn2tank for this fight, and every time we wipe, we're going to blame you".
Feb 27th 2009 10:08AM I'm not talking about QQing about losing a raid spot to a priest, I'm talking about the inconvenience of the fight mechanic which would be perfectly acceptable if they weren't proclaiming this mantra of "bring the player, not the class".
While its an interesting fight and all, pigeonholing two priests into a spot dedicated for one fight based on one mechanic that requires albeit limited but nevertheless knowledge of how to tank for a class that doesn't ever fulfill this role in the first place is specifically what GC claims to be against.
I'm not complaining about the fight, but when they specifically cite instances like Mage tanking in Gruul's as an example of what they want to avoid, they probably should just leave the Raz crystals up in 25 man.
Feb 27th 2009 9:50AM Bring the Player, not the Class.
Unless of course you want to do the Razuvious encounter in Naxxramas-25. Then you bring 2 priests, not the players.
Feb 24th 2009 1:08PM @Matthew
My mistake, you are absolutely correct. I got my numbers crossed up.
This makes Shield Wall spammable once per minute, 20% uptime during the fight, 20% loss on overall damage reduction.
Thanks for catching that.
Feb 24th 2009 12:55PM So far as I can tell, the new Shield Wall glyph would only allow you to have the ability to use it every two minutes, provided you also talented appropriately for it.
By and large, this is going to be a good thing for Warrior Tanks. Combined with the existing glyphs that are in place, I can foresee having my dual specs as multi-purpose tanking and then one heavily favoring single target threat and mitigation.
As for the Fury "tax", I believe there is an anticipated buff to the Beserker Stance that will grant an additional 10% damage. The idea is to buff Arms without overpowering Fury.
Its not time to hit the panic button, just yet.
Feb 18th 2009 2:25PM More than this, the buttons can only be bound to macros, or single keystrokes.
Most gamers wouldn't have minded a mouse you could bind Ctrl+Alt+Shift+` to, because we'd never use it. But the WoW MMO Mouse didn't allow for modifiers in its software.
Even worse, its "macroes" were just keystrokes...typed....in...to...the...active....window.
Let me reinforce this point. Using their "Dismount" macro would open your WoW command line and type / d i s m o u n t.
I purchased this mouse hoping that it would not only allow me to use this for gaming, but I could bind the keys to other programs like Photoshop. When I saw the tragedy that is their software, a part of me died inside. I returned it immediately.
This mouse was a fantastic idea that died a horrible stillbirth. I anticipate many true gamers would feel the same way when they realize its shortcomings.
Dec 3rd 2008 5:38PM @Saiforune
Saiforune is a human mage that spawns only on the Azgalor-US PVP server. He can be farmed easily by combing the skies of Storm Peaks using a /tar Sai macro. He doesn't drop much loot but if you camp him long enough, a keyboard company will thank you for having to send him a much more sturdy replacement.
I actively encourage all Horde to partake in this wonderful event, and do whatever you can to ensure that Saiforune never, ever, ever gets this drop.
