Aug 21st 2007 3:30AM @42 just in addition
I'm quite content with my drop luck. Time is on my side :D
Aug 21st 2007 3:28AM For 3 Months my Paladin got nothing but tanking gear in Karazhan (That is: Second drops, as we do have a warrior tank) - by now I'm only missing the necklace - but until 2 weeks ago I was still missing 5 healing items (mostly the plate stuff). The healing boots from Moroes haven't even dropt at all, and I've just run AV to simply buy the PVP boots (my drop "luck" made run arena as well - and it's been well worth it)
After dozens of steamvault runs I'm still missing the tanking cape, yet every time I use one of my Alts, it drops...
What pisses me off most is the fact, that it "locks" me to my main - I cannot play one of my much liked Alts if my main char is still missing essential items from that instance.
Aug 19th 2007 6:18PM I put Blessing of Sacrifice on the MT self during the fight against Prince Malchezaar - well that was until enfeeblement hit me...
Aug 19th 2007 9:42AM Lowest downtime combined with decent dps would be feral druid or hunter (I guess) - though I prefer the feral druid :D
(That is: without AoE killing mobs - most fun combo for AoE killing is Holy Paladin + Holy Priest)
Aug 14th 2007 2:34AM BankList does the same and is very minimalistic - in addition you can assign one of your chars as "guild bank" and other members of your guild can whisper you wether that item is available or not.
Aug 13th 2007 4:07AM I think Int +Manareg Chance on Spellcast is good enough as a meta gem. Requirements are low as well
Aug 9th 2007 4:51AM I have to think of my druid that had his flight form 2 levels before everyone else had his mount. Didn't make my ignore quests, rather the opposite, as travelling in BEM wasn't such a pain...
Jul 25th 2007 8:49PM @21 I knew my situtation didn't quite fit your first post :-)
On the other hand I've seen horrible Karazhan groups that looked quite well on paper - one raid in particular that I "tried" in March with my druid took until tuesday to get Kara clear (yep, that's 4 months of raid "progress"). And what's worse - you could easily see that coming, even after the first run.

We just did Karazhan yesterday with no priest at all (9th week of this raid). Me (Pally) and a shaman were healing, and a feral druid for those few times were we think we need three (Aran, Prince, Illhoof). Cleared all (except animal boss) in ~ 5 hours. Equip level is Karazhan or less - group setup is (sorted by equip level): Warrior Tank, Warlock, Rogue, 2 Feral Druids, Shaman, 2 Mages, Pally, Hunter (Twink).
Actually we find eg Moroes easier without Shackle than with a bad one. Decursing Magic debuffs is a pain for me for sure, but works well enough. Aran was a pain (4 tries), but everything else went quite smooth.
We've done Karazhan with as many as 3 Priests (2 Shadow), but it doesn't really matter that much.
& no we are not an "endgame raiding guild", we've done no more than Gruul and little poke at Void Reaver.
