Heart of the Aspects video and giveaway {WoW}

NPD: Final Fantasy XIII sold almost twice as many copies on PS3 {Joystiq}

Apr 15th 2010 9:12PM Putting aside the silly fanboyisms...this is interesting.

The two versions were not equal, most reasonable people can agree on that. I believe it would be safe to say that the majority of people with internet access and that have both a PS3 and a 360 bought the PS3 version.

For the 360 to still sell 493k units is a REALLY good thing for SquareEnix. My thinking leads me to believe that most people that bought the 360 version don't have a PS3. If there hadn't been a 360 version, that is a HUGE chunk of the sales gone.

The only other thoughts I ponder are how many people would have bought a PS3 solely for this game that didn't have to because they already had a 360. Sony is the obvious winner if you force this into a contest, but I certainly wouldn't go as far as calling Microsoft a loser.

Either way, SquareEnix hits it big. $$$

Joyswag: Call of Booty: Prestige Edition {Joystiq}

Nov 12th 2009 12:18PM Long time ago, me and a bunch of my cousins were having a pillow-fight in my room in the dark.

I thought I saw someone hiding under the sheets of my bed. I lifted up the sheets and saw what looked like a head come out from underneath.

So with ALL my might I swing the pillow as hard as I can to teach the punk a lesson, the pillow lands and the head goes FLYING across the room.

Five seconds of PURE TERROR...then I realize it was a balloon someone had left under the sheets....

Jul 15th 2009 4:49PM "I am growing a bit tired of writers on this blog"

Don't read blogs if you don't want opinions.

Especially on something based on lore. There is no right or wrong, no cold "fact" you can grab onto.

Jul 11th 2009 9:01PM You're thinking about Judgement of Justice.

This is JudgementS of THE Just

The previous posters were correct. Paladin's have already had a Melee Attack Speed debuff. Next patch they will also have an AP debuff.

Changes in Patch 3.2 PTR build 10072 {WoW}

Jul 8th 2009 12:16AM Ardent Defender hasn't been anything near OP since the PREVIOUS patch was put in. Unless of course people are talking about a well-known bug causing the spell not to act properly.

For those that don't know, Ardent Defender no longer mitigates the whole attack, just the portion of the attack below 35% HP. The previous OP version was only around for about a week, and it's been more at least a week since it was changed.

Yogg-Saron and Flame Leviathan nerfed tonight {WoW}

Jun 11th 2009 11:49PM I agree with theRaptor.

Has anyone heard of the 3-heart zelda challenge? How about beating Emerald Weapon in Final Fantasy VII with no summon or underwater materia?

IMO, those are equivalent to "Hard Modes". Hard modes are something we rely on to squeeze more playtime out of a game that has grown boring or stale, or is otherwise too easy.

Hard modes should not be built into a game as the main goal, it's simply trying to make up for the fact that the main challenge of the game is lacking.

I love this game and have been playing it for a while now, but I really hope Blizzard doesn't push the casual-focus to far.

Vanilla WoW was brutal compared to how things are now. However WoW still became the world's leading MMO and was WAY ahead of the competition(8million subscribers before BC). WoW had NO trouble growing.

Then things started getting easier, and many people try and say this is the reason for WoW's continued growth. This is the lamest reasoning I've ever read for that side of the discussion. WoW was not struggling before these changes, it was still growing just as fast(if not faster) as it is now.

Jun 6th 2009 6:49PM Can anyone tell what it is he's wearing? It's too cool looking to not create a city-wear set now that I've seen it.
