Breakfast Topic: Missing Professions? {WoW}

Jul 17th 2009 8:30AM There's been a lot of support on the forums for woodworking and logging.
They'd work well as a combo.
"Make bows!
Make staves!
Make arrows!
Make totems and relics!
Make handles for epic guns, maces, and swords!
Make wands (in conjunction with enchanting)!
Huge BOP bank boxes!
If you ever decide to implement player housing, make cabinets! That smell of rich mahogany!

The Argent Coliseum quest showed us that logging could work well in the world, and you could even get some interactivity with D.E.H.T.A.

Chop down your guild's resto druid and make new dutch clogs! Why not!"

Arcane Brilliance: I still don't like spirit {WoW}

Mar 23rd 2009 12:14PM MY INTERWEB OPINION IS IMPORTANT!

I really only PVP on my mage. I switch armor depending on the fight (arcane/shatter build).
I use(d) Molten when AB'ing from a distance and on huntards. Reasoning being that if anything gets me in range, I'm toast anyways (if CD's are blown).

I am not Naxx geared. I don't intend to be.
Very little PVP armor has spirit on it.
They nerfed Molten to 1% crit for me.
Thanks.

What kind of mongoloid game designer, intent on buffing a useless stat for a class, would nerf a staple facet of the class for the majority of players?

Dual spec available at level 40, reagent requirement removed {WoW}

Feb 24th 2009 5:07PM This comment, along with the "priviledge" comment, makes me ill.
You pay to play the game.
No, you shouldn't be handed epics, but they should have built in this functionality as part of the hundred dollar game in the first place.
Making you pay a somewhat outrageous sum (the cost of 20 respecs at 50g apiece) at an early level does nothing more than promote gold farming/buying and keep people on their servers, playing Farmcraft.

Breakfast Topic: Pranks {WoW}

Jan 29th 2009 3:33PM Used the paid name change feature to rename my roomate's Gnome Mage main "Nobgoblur".
Best $10 I ever spent.

Breakfast Topic: Would you join an "Anything Goes" realm? {WoW}

Jan 15th 2009 11:10AM The sexually explicit content does nothing to improve gameplay, and Azeroth should not be a safehaven for smut, so no.

However, an open PVP server (constantly at war with any faction) should strongly be considered. PVP guilds and world PVP would actually be viable and interesting. Guild alliances would be a great dynamic to explore, as well. The world would be big enough for players to level, with the help of their guilds.

Activision exec: Videogames will eclipse other entertainment {WoW}

Jan 13th 2009 11:23AM He's just trying to slink his way out of making a WoW movie.
Nice try. We know where you live.

Videogames have already surpassed music and movies combined in terms of gross revenue generated per year.

Breakfast Topic: What's in a name? {WoW}

Jan 13th 2009 11:10AM The name "Adolf" is lame, though.
What's a bigger shame (apart from the, you know, genocide) is that he forever ruined Chaplin's moustache.
I love that moustache.
