Lil' Ragnaros and Moonkin Hatchlings now available at the pet store {WoW}

Nov 30th 2010 6:53AM Plenty of charitys get my money, if my purchasing something awesome gets them a penny extra, great. A few dollars, even better. Five dollars? good karma will be heading my way, but I care not. Lil'Ragnaros is a cooking fire! That's just too great. Get in my life now wee fella.

Frankly I'd still pay 'real' money for these even if it said in the small print they would be breaking a small childs legs and drowning 10 kittens for every one sold. A cooking fire! Cooking rhino dogs over lil'rag is never gonna get old.

The Queue: Back to the grind {WoW}

Nov 29th 2010 1:01PM The engineer only Flying Machines and my RaF reward Touring Rocket have suddenly lost their rickety engine sounds/rocket noise. Don't know for sure but maybe the goblin trikes being silent thing is a bug too?

I'm assuming the silent flying machines are a bug and not working as intended.

Breakfast Topic: Rest in peace, Mankrik's wife {WoW}

Nov 16th 2010 9:09PM I hear that, i keep Archerus and the book on each of my toons that complete that quest.

Droid 2 R2-D2 edition coming September 30 {Engadget}

Aug 12th 2010 6:32PM I give it a week before someone creates a skin for the iPhone 4 that is inspired by this.

You need a blackberry to really pull it off though, doesn't R2 have flashing lights? Flashing lights is RIM's territory ;-)

Redsn0w jailbreak works with iOS 4.0.2... on your iPhone 3G {Engadget}

Aug 12th 2010 6:29PM @Jordus You sir, are an idiot of the largest calibre. The patch fixes the PDF exploit, Redsn0w doesn't use the PDF exploit to jailbreak, its done in boot. Which is why it still works for the 3G.

Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 officially debuts on AT&T: $130 on contract {Engadget}

Aug 9th 2010 12:49PM @Vandam500 Sorry but its really not, its awful, I got this phone as an upgrade for a contract my mother uses, she hated it, I tried using it, awful. A friend of mine saw it dumped on my desk, picked it up, and discarded it moments later. Good camera, that's about it. I'm pretty sure I can recommend any other Android over this one without ever using another.

I don't know how much better version 2.1 and 2.2 of Android are, but if its even slightly like 1.6 I fail to see the appeal. Shockingly bad compared to iOS.

Ruby Sanctum is open [Updated] {WoW}

Jun 29th 2010 7:06PM I don't understand why this is a big deal either. So some random guild on an UP battlegroup gets a world first on a one boss kill. Whys that a big deal? It's not like people on any one server have got an advantage over players from the same server.

Apple telling reps to smooth over iPhone 4 reception complaints, not to offer free bumpers? {Engadget}

Jun 29th 2010 6:15PM I'm preparing for a 'Apple Fanboy' flaming right here.. but.

iPhone4 reception is better for me in several previous non edge non 3G locations, now pulling Edge and 3G data where my iPhone 3G got GPRS data at best. My iPhone4 is providing better signal reception for me. Steve's 'Cool Engineering', the memos, 'best reception ever' I believe.

Yes, I have a case for it, A gear4 Iceshield if memory serves, bought on the day of launch at the o2 store. But there we go. Best signal I've had from an O2 iPhone.

Breakfast Topic: An earnest letter {WoW}

Jun 26th 2010 9:22AM Azure whelpling, My main has all the others, got the crimson and the emerald, two darks, and killed over 3000 blue dragonkin in Azshara, never got it, had to buy it in the end.

And now the cycle is repeating for the Crimson whelp for my paladin alt, they just refuse to give up their young!

iPhone 4 antenna woes contextualized by dude in the know {Engadget}

Jun 25th 2010 7:49AM I've watched the videos, I see the effect, And try as I might, I cannot get the signal on my iPhone to drop no matter how I hold it, completely covering the lower half of the phone in my fist while on a call.... not a flicker.

I'm no that bothered anyway because I picked up a case from the O2 store anyway, but, I can't help but wonder if this is not perhaps a manufacturing defect in a certain number of iPhone handsets.

I'd be particularly interested to know if the yellowing screen and antenna problem are commonly found together, perhaps Foxconn put a bit too much of a rush on these devices.
