Oct 30th 2007 7:44PM Having started playing WoW quite late in the game, I have done many instances with many PuGs and while it can be frustrating, it can also be very entertaining.

Unlike grouping with the same 5 people and running an instance "by the book", you never know what's going to happen next in a PuG. From party chat to ninja looters, to people dropping group and how to handle CC, every PuG brings something original to my WoW experience. As long as you are patient and don't take them too seriously, PuGs will get you the most entertainment and the best stories possible.

She is right, I hit 70 on my shadow priest and I am starting to gear up. The caster ring would be a big upgrade for me and won't soon be replaced. Now all I have to do is win the roll...

2.3 PTR patch notes {WoW}

Oct 11th 2007 6:11PM "Additional Warmasters no longer report for duty upon destroying an enemy tower. However, destroying an enemy tower still eliminates the associated opposing Warmaster."

I believe that each faction starts with 4 WMs in with Van/Drek. This means that if you down all 4 towers, which happens routinely, you will end up facing Van/Drek all by his himself. You won't have to worry about pulling all the WMs at once because by the time the First Aid Station or Relief Hut is capped all the towers will be down and Van/Drek will be all alone.

This is a bit of a strange change. I don't see how this would encourage more pvp. The basic zerg strategy would finish the game even faster because you no longer have to deal with the WMs. Even if some of the towers were successfully defended, 1 or 2 WMs can be dealt with using an off-tank and sufficient healing.

Oct 11th 2007 5:00PM "- Elune's Grace (Night Elf) effect changed to reduce chance to be hit by melee and ranged attacks by 20% for 15 seconds. There is now only 1 rank of the spell.
- Fear Ward is now available to all priests at level 20. Duration reduced to 3 minutes, cooldown increased to 3 minutes.
- Starshards (Night Elf) is no longer channeled, costs 0 mana, is now a Magic effect, lasts 15 seconds, causes damage every 3 seconds and has a 30 second cooldown."

Sep 12th 2007 11:14AM I haven't been playing WoW for very long (I still haven't hit the level cap, getting close), but was that a shaman just casting lightning bolt over and over?

I didn't put a lot of thought into choosing my class, but suddenly I'm really glad I didn't role a shaman.
