Aug 30th 2007 4:44PM Ah thanks...that was funny...it reminded me as well of Skatergnome from Everquest as well.
Aug 30th 2007 2:00PM They give you a release date and then when they have to push the release date back due to an unfinished expansion many will complain....
They could do what Sony does and release it on its release date full of bugs and fix them in upcoming patches and people will still complain.
It's in Blizzard's best interest not to give a release date until the expansion is nearly finished.
Aug 30th 2007 1:52PM I can't link to the wow forums directly...ie. not allowed at the workplace...anyone feel like posting the story here so I can read it? :)
Aug 29th 2007 7:34PM @27 I wouldn't know since I don't have a shaman at lvl 70...maybe they could widen the range for earthbind to affect a greater area?
Aug 29th 2007 1:53PM If you use our own Earth as a model when developing cold continents in games just use Canada as an example. It is diverse in all aspects from heavily forested/lake areas that are temperate to ice clad freezing areas..
They could create tundras that contain lumpy ground with short grasses with patches of snow on them with wandering reindeer, snow foxes, snow rabbits instead of gazelles, snakes, and squirrels.
I think it will be a very diverse environment...at least I hope so
Aug 29th 2007 12:34PM I forgot to mention that I am referring to the ability to chase down fleeing monsters and such by using the Earthbind totem.
Aug 29th 2007 12:33PM The poster mentioned in issue #5 "Enhancement shaman lack significant ranged combat abilities as well a way to chase down fleeing opponents."
I have a low level shaman, who I am currenting specc'ing Enhancement...isn't a good counter to the issue would be using the Earthbind Totem?
I didn't see any additional ranks for it, but seems to me that it would still work on high lvl mobs. I could be wrong since I have never tried it against high lvl mobs...perhaps someone can educate me on this idea?
