May 12th 2009 6:19AM You're right - thanks for making me realise this, canceling my recurring payment now.
Feb 9th 2009 3:02AM A bit of a noob question (or maybe it's because I don't play a hunter) ... but what's the issue about the other hunter dropping flares at Rossi's Wife's feet.
Are we talking Hunter flares here, or engineering flares. Was he doing it simply to irritate, or is there some effect which occurs which would have made her live more difficult.
Again, pardon the noobishness here, but I fully need clarity on this before I fully appreciate the story (I'm guessing).
Jan 8th 2009 7:02AM This vid is seriously making me consider going back to Combat Swords ... I'm finding myself looking for all kinds of justifications for doing so ... truly awesome portrayal of a really fun class ... a million thumbs up.
Jan 8th 2009 7:00AM Heyy, that's exactly what I thought ... there seemed to be a bit more between them than one trying to kill the other ... notice the almost winsome final clash of swords as Mathias ran past her to save Prestor ... hardly seemed aggressive, almost like "Hi ... see ya later".
Mathias almost had a sense of regret about him while he watched her disappear into the forest ... Almost like "Wow, who WAS that girl ... I didn't even get her number".
Dec 5th 2008 3:32AM Here's a thought ... you know blue has stated that the BoP specialisation weapons are a thing of the past ... perhaps they've gone a step further and removed the axe/sword/mace specialisation as well, seeing as (at this time) there is no real need for it in the end game.
There are 2 or 3 weapons at level 78 or so which simply require you to be weaponsmith, but absolutely nothing in game that requires a further specialisation (aside from the level 70 stuff, ofc)
Just a thought.
Anyway, as soon as I no longer have any need for my Bloodmoon (around level 75ish), I'm going armoursmith ... I'll still be able to craft the Titansteel Destroyer, but I'll have access to 3 pieces of Armoursmith armour, which are all pretty decent, which makes weaponsmithing pale in comparison (at this stage, at least)
Nov 21st 2008 4:14PM blegh, no editing FTL ... Add this onto the end :
I'll level my DK in the mean time ... and if it's not available by the time I get him to 80, I'll start with each of my other alts until Dual-Speccing DOES come out.
Now, for the DK ... blood or unholy ... aaargh ... I'm stuck in a vortex :-D
Nov 21st 2008 4:11PM I can't do it ... I can't take prot over fury ... as much as my head is telling me to do it, half of my heart is crying out.
At the same time, he other half of my heart is yearning for prot, I gave it a go for about a week and loved it. So, I see myself spending 50g a level respeccing back and forth, because I'm not going to be able to decide.
It's for this reason that I'm going to wait until the dual-spec feature comes out ... I'll have prot and fury on hand then, and will switch between the 2 as and when it's needed (ofc, it's probably going to be reagent based or something, and the reagents cost 50g each ... typical ;-> )
Nov 18th 2008 2:47PM I try and use different ui styles. My most recent one involved using the standard action bars with a mod called StellarBars.
Pretty much the only thing StellarBars was beneficial for was that you could move the default action bars around ... was really nice - default bars, shifted off slightly to allow better space utilisation.
The rest was pretty much vanilla UI.
Then I couldn't understand how to do the "Grand Theft Palomino" quest for my DK. You have to steal a horse (easy enough, just right click), then deliver it. Only problem was, StellarBars did something that didn't allow the default vehicle UI to load ... so I was stuck. I disabled the addon .. and BAM - new action bar, problem solved.
I dislike the standard action bars, as they have those nasty space wasting gryphons and they're centred in the screen, causing the chat box to either be squashed, or to high up.
Loaded Dominos now ... I'll see how that goes
Oct 22nd 2008 2:27PM You're full of it ... I was doing 75% of the DPS as Fury as opposed to arms .... and Arms is doing comparative damage to Ret Pallies ...
Fury needed a buff, pure and simple, anyone who didn't think so if speaking from pure emo, and not from evidence.
