Breakfast Topic: Is the Zombie event too PvP for PvE? {WoW}

Oct 26th 2008 8:26PM First let me say this is whining!

I guess I will take a break, the repair bills are getting a bit much. On Icecrown(PVE), which is a High pop server, its next to impossible to quest level my low level alt. Not because the NPC quest givers are dead they spawn back, but because you get one shot'ed before he spawns. Just my opinion but grinding is just way to boring. You cant even go to the auction house anymore.

Oh well it will be over in what 3 weeks?

Shame is I am missing out on the Halloween event one of my favorites.

And listening to general chat there is probably 25% of the ppl who really like the griefing but there are more who hate it. Most of my friends are just running gruuls and kara and some of the heroics other than that they are not doing much else anymore either.

Guess that's just the way the zombie ball bounces.

BTW I like the idea of only being involved if your pvp flag is on. That way you could play your low levels and wait around for a quest NPC to spawn and turn you quests in with out dieing.

Hunters in the Arena {WoW}

Jul 19th 2007 3:16PM The hunter's best friend and ally is our pet,in pvp combat who is going after someones pet? NOBODY, you kill the hunter and the pet disappears so why would you bother with the pet? Warlocks can at least sacrifice the pet and get buffed up from it.

I do not know the answer, but thats way I use an ALT to pvp or go to the arena.

BTW even in group situations everyone kills the hunters first,! because its two for one. Then DPS'ers because they are easier to kill and they can cause BIG damage fast. Of course there are exceptions for every rule, I am just pointing out common strategies I have seen and used.
