Jul 19th 2007 3:47PM I happen to have a orc shammy from way back and before BC I was running scholo/strat/ubrs as enhancement. I healed here and there but mostly ran as melee. I'll never forget the days of SSing hunters with a TuF/Arcanite Reaper in AV. Once I got to 70, the amount of gear itemized for enhancement just plained sucked compared to the caster stuff. So I bent to blizzard's will and speced mostly resto and enhancement upto 2 handers. Wow what a difference! Even in mediocre gear I end battles at full health/ mana. In pvp I have had 2 rogues actually give up trying to kill me at a flag in AB. At 70 a shaman's strength has been pushed via gear and other classes talents into resto.
Hunters in the Arena {WoW}
Jul 19th 2007 3:28PM Our 3v3 group has a hunter in it and he seems to hold his own very nicely, unless a rogue is on him then he needs saving. At which point we can burst down the rogue, while 1 is sheeped and another feared/cycloned. It's been working for us and he has made more kills then my druid.
