Aug 21st 2007 2:36AM You only hear from the whiners because the content players don't feel a need to post. I tend to believe those who whine would complain regardless. They're just inherently vocal and annoying people. Not to mention that it seems 99% of people they have below average, and that just isn't possible. You people just need to shut up, stop whining, and remember that you're playing the game for fun. If you're so pent up that your rogue gear hasn't dropped...maybe that is Blizzard's none too subtle way of reminding you that you rolled a pointless class. Might as well have rolled a warrior or a druid. Both out-DPS rogues, but warriors have more armor/hp...and druids have the whole package. And remember...it isn't rogue gear unless there isn't a druid around who could put it to better use.
Aug 9th 2007 7:42AM In response to 4, the badge of tenacity is +150 agility on use, but counts as a defensive trinket so it doesn't share cooldown. These are the kinds of things you would learn if you played a useful class that could provide nominal DPS, had a reliable CC, or was bright enough not to use an agro dump standing right next to a healer. Hunters are not raid viable. You fill a DPS/CC role with 2 bodies, neither of which can provide half the dps of a warlock, rogue, fury warrior, feral druid, or fire mage...and you whine at healers when *THEY* let your useless pet die. Stop whining that they're taking away what obviously qualifies as an exploit and just reroll a useful character (assuming you ever want to see anything heroic or any raid).

Jul 21st 2007 2:20AM Does anyone know what gear it starts you with? Or what is in the grab bag of goodies? Do you start with honor, with arena points, with gold? Are the characters attuned to any instances, exalted with any factions?
Jul 20th 2007 5:32PM This is a novel idea for people who are considering re-rolling or claim other classes are OP. If you think they're OP...go try playing one for a few weeks and see if you still hate them. Maybe you just aren't a good player (and yes, even I believe locks are over powered).
Anyway...you can't participate in the PTR if your account hasn't been active since at least November 13, 2006. Locks me out from giving it a shot. Sad panda...
Jul 20th 2007 1:17PM The IVth Commandment is a joke. You can't use irregular consumables, but Warlocks (already the most OP class for either pvp or pve) can use their healthstones and Shaman can use their elementals? No way can a shaman drop an elemental and claim that he is duelling honorably. The shaman is not a pet dependent class, and the fire elemental can hit too hard and survives way to long to be compared to something like a frost mage's water elemental or a balance druid's treants. I think that this deeply flawed 4th "commandment" should be scrapped and the arena item use rules should be adopted as a set of fair/forfeit for honorable duelling. By the way, the last talent that should ever be allowed in any duel is lay on hands. Yeah, it may be an innate ability...but it is meant to counter shaman's rez and warlock's soulstone, neither of which can or should be used.
