Sep 14th 2007 2:48PM One of the motivations of leveling up a character, for me, was getting cooler looking gear as your lvl increased. Seeing a lvl 60 in a full set compared to your boy scout shorts and skimpy shoulders made your character look like his lvl and made each peice have it's own characteristics. To me this would be a horrible change to the game world. I think it would actually make more people look alike. I would severly protest it, if this were ever considered for WoW, although I don;t ever see this coming to wow.
Sep 5th 2007 3:33PM How do you stretch a simple, common sense idea into this long column. Are players really that clueless that we need to feature the idea in great detail that hunters have the ability to utilize thier traps in group situations? Let's extend a little credit to the average player and assume we don't need to feature an article about how important polymorph is for mages.
Aug 30th 2007 5:05PM The XP toggle wouldn't be neccesary, there's already ways of avoiding the xp gain, and i think people plan ahead and start running the instances before they are at level cap, I only twinked a char out once but when I did, the xp gain wasn't really an issue, since I started at 25 or so. The only part that bothered me was the xp gain from turning in tokens for some bg rep rewards, but now thats not even an issue.
