Feb 6th 2010 4:26PM I hope they changed, (or did away with altogether) the achievement to get all of the candy hearts. When I first started on that part of the holiday, I thought to myself, "Oh! Easy peasy!"
One year later, and I do not have my "Love Fool" achievement because of the 1...ONE, candy heart that just would not pop up in my bag of candy. >_
Dec 19th 2008 11:16PM It must be the original fruitcake that was first sent off in the mail all those many years ago! Everyone knows theres just one. All the other are impostors.
Jul 28th 2008 4:01PM Really, how different is this from hiring a babysitter when you go on a long trip, other than that you don't have to pay the sitter, you are still nearby, and there is video monitoring the sitter? it is a bit ostentatious to air the whole thing on television, but I hardly think it's "dangerous".
Jun 23rd 2008 4:14PM Where is Pete's Dragon , Secret of NIMH and Anistasia? Geez, no love for Don Bluth!
Jun 23rd 2008 4:05PM How did The Secret of NIMH not make it onto this list either!? Such a great movie!
Aug 8th 2007 3:48PM I find it interesting that they describe the before Gwyneth as....
"The perpetually pale and WASPy looking faux-English lass" but then go on to criticize her with "spray tan, the giant brush brows and the blindingly white hair render her virtually unrecognizable" about the new picture. Geez, did this columnist just hate her all the way around? She looks fine either way to me, let her be.
Jul 26th 2007 3:30PM I would not want my husband to look like ANY of the guys shown in these pics. the first picture looks like a messy star trek nerd with poor hygiene, the other two look like they are trying to dress like little boys (the sweater looks like it belongs on Harry Potter, not a grown man) Brad looks nice in the suit (not so sure about the shades) but then, hes Brad Pitt. my husband looks hot in a jeans and a T-shirt, and thats how I like him best.
Jul 22nd 2007 11:35PM Hmmm... my major was Advertising, and from what I understand of the subject, advertising should be...
1. informative. showcase to product/company in a way that educates the public about the product/company.
2. appealing. the ad should demonstrait a feeling/look/concept that the consumer wishes to achieve, with the indication that the product will help them achieve it.
inforamive? I can hardly tell what the two models in the picture are wearing, the lighting is pretty dim, and as for the lovely little frock they are snorting, is it V-neck? satin? I can hardly tell what it looks like. So do I like Sisley clothing? Do I want that dress? I have no idea.
as for appealing, it might be appealing.....if I was a crack whore. Because that is certainly what these two ladies look like. I don't want to be them, and if these clothes will make me like them ...well....no. Show me a picture of a healthy, vibrant woman wearing that white dress, and that might boost my opinion of it.
I will agree that the premise is cleaver, but in a dark and slightly silly way. It looks like a photo that some 14 year old emo girl would have on her myspace.
