Is reforging a hit or a miss? {WoW}

Mar 12th 2012 11:01PM Reforging is an interesting concept but one that admittedly, I have no clue how to effectively use it. I don't raid and I mainly run PUG Heroics. Out of curiosity I asked a fellow Frost DK guildmate how to better push my dps...and his response was classic.

"I dunno, I just plug my character into"

Thats a problem IMHO. What good is the addition to the game if you have to use resources out of the game to benefit from it? I'm not bitching about reforging mind you. Hell, I think its long overdue for some folks. I'm just saying...suggestions from within the game itself should steer you in the right direction. On that note alone I vote "Miss".

Blue posts and other WoW news: Ghostcrawler clarification, unloved specs, warlocks, and layoff rumors {WoW}

Nov 9th 2011 10:31PM What I will never understand is how the talent devs can create specs / talent trees that have inherent flaws; yet still release them to the public...then weeks / months later add buffs to compensate.

The very first time I found this out the hard way was raiding on my warrior during BC in Karazhan. I absolutely loved playing Arms and was astounded by the raid leaders that Arms was a shitty DPS spec. They didn't kick me from the raid grouping...but I was encouraged to investigate what I needed to do to up my numbers. For the first time I realized WoW had garbage specs / talents...and to this day I have no idea why they keep doing it.

Maybe the MoP trees are supposed to address this. I dunno. I got tired of second guessing my spec choices across a number of classes through the years whether or not my playstyle would help or hinder a 5man, raid, etc. I could've sworn the point of specs and talents were to pick what you found interesting...I'm just sayin'.

Know Your Lore, Tinfoil Hat Edition: The genesis of Azeroth, page 2 {WoW}

Nov 7th 2011 12:28AM Wow. Mind. Blown.

I just really wished I could experience more meaningful in-game lore that wasn't raid only. I wanna see Yoggy so bad now.

Don't worry (or do), PS Vita will have external battery peripheral {Joystiq}

Sep 16th 2011 11:50PM @Dcmac Which is exactly my point. Maybe the Vita will be good with time. But Sony doesn't exactly have a good track record with releasing quality products right out of the gate.

I'll wait a year.

Don't worry (or do), PS Vita will have external battery peripheral {Joystiq}

Sep 16th 2011 8:47PM Sorry, I cannot justify buying this at launch. One year from now...a better variation will be released that will address my current concerns with the device...

1. Lack of Internal Storage
2. Abysmal Battery Life

Don't worry (or do), PS Vita will have external battery peripheral {Joystiq}

Sep 16th 2011 7:03PM ...or you could simply build the device from the ground up to have capable battery life...

Just a thought.

About the Bloggers: Dawn Moore {WoW}

Sep 14th 2011 10:21PM "...server communities have completely broken down. I can't remember the last time I made a new friend doing a quest or completing a dungeon, whereas in vanilla and The Burning Crusade, it was a weekly thing."

A thousand times this.

Anyhow, as a new healer looking to rise above the "snarkiness" on my server...I look forward to reading more of your class insights.

Nice to meet you.
