Oct 19th 2010 5:11PM Fiona didn't believe it was actually possible, but a split-second later her foot was stuck right up in there and it became incredibly awkward for the both of them.

The Art of War(craft): Random thoughts on Cataclysm PvP {WoW}

Aug 12th 2010 8:42PM They never created another "level-bracket" for Halaa, or any other World-PvP area, so don't be surprised when Cataclysm rolls out and Wintergrasp is empty.

We are getting a "new" Wintergrasp in the form of Tol Barad.

Jul 29th 2010 6:40PM In response to the debate here, I made a new post exploring what it means to be a "gamer." I'd appreciate any feedback given.

So what if someone is a "Soccer Mom" or a "Middle-Management Man?" How does that make them less of a gamer? Is it because they have lives outside of video games or because someone does not let games rule their life? It seems like you think people who don't share your point-of-view or play the games you do aren't gamers. The fact that most professional gamers play RTSs and FPSs further discredits you.

You seem to regard yourself as some sort of authority, when clearly you are a jaded individual and quite possibly a troll, getting off in a dark cellar somewhere. You've already shown the community here how ignorant and biased you are.

I'm glad you liked it. I've played video games almost all my life, but MMOs have probably had the largest effect on me, for better or worse. Occasionally I still get the "Ew, you play those things?" comment, but I shrug it off. Those who won't give MMOs a try just because of ill-gotten, preconceived notions are truly missing out.

Jul 29th 2010 12:58PM I wouldn't even say "electronic." What about players of DnD and table-top Warhammer? Those guys are truly old-school.

Jul 29th 2010 12:55PM Everquest was a social stigmata that had to be hidden. We football players were supposed to be playing Madden, not some game full of androgynous elves and ogres!

"Being a 'true' gamer (as opposed to, lets say, facebook variety) is about accepting gaming as a part of your lifestyle that you feel passionate about. Those are the kind of people who will spend hours figuring out the best character build in an RPG, who will stay up late 'just to get that last point', who will not look down upon a game's storyline 'because its a game'. Etc, etc."

I think you hit the nail right on the head with a giant, glorious hammer of truth.
