Nov 9th 2008 11:41AM Definitely giving this to my Death Knight.
Jul 15th 2008 4:59PM Microsoft easily had the best conference. They're going to do a good job stealing money from my wallet with so many great games that are going to be coming out. The new upgrades that the 360 is getting are great, too. With this information alone, they did better than the other companies. The FF13 announcement is just icing on the cake, and a severe kick in the groin for Sony.
That being said, Sony managed to do better than I expected, that is, better than Nintendo's god awful conference. Wii music? Really Nintendo? This is the kind of crap that gets produced when you try to develop for the lowest common denominator. The challenges of games like Guitar Hero and Rock Band are what really make them fun, after all. Not to mention, they hardly mentioned their first party franchises; the ones that people really care about and buy a Wii for. At least Sony announced a few games to make Metal Gear not be the only game worth buying a PS3 for.
Apr 26th 2008 9:47PM I'm really excited to for the new raid content. I don't have time for raiding right now but I already know I'll have plenty of time to raid in Wrath. Moreover, I was disappointed that I never got to head into Naxx before BC, so I'm excited to finally get to try it out, even if it will be different.
I'm also really excited about Death Knights, they were one of my favorite units from WC3.
Apr 10th 2008 3:16PM Beast within. Nuff said. That or curse of tounges to mess with people.
Jul 27th 2007 9:04PM I don't care about prettier games. Sure, it'd be nice, but it's not necessary.
Gameplay always takes priority over graphics. Always.
Jul 26th 2007 1:17PM Yes please.
Jan 2nd 2007 4:50PM Wii Sports is a great game in the sense that it's good to play on a casual level, or occasionally over long amounts of time (similar to SSBM, which my friends and I still play from time to time.). Wii sports attracted a lot of non-gamers to it as well as long-time gamers. It's a great game for everyone. (I do still consider Zelda TP better, but not necessarily a game for everyone.)
Jan 2nd 2007 4:46PM It depends with me, there's some games that I blaze through quickly as soon as I get them and play them sometimes later on, usually the action/adventure games. As for games that are usually played for a long period of time (RPGs, MMOs, some FPSs), I tend to rotate them around so that I'm playing one more dominantly than the others at a time. For example, for a couple months I might be playing mostly WoW over, lets say wolfenstein, and then I might switch around so that I'm playing mostly Wolfenstein over WoW.
And there seems to be a good number of games coming out mid-year, like smash bros brawl. Summer is when I try to take on harder gaming challenges that I usually don't have time for, like beating a game on hard mode, or trying to fully complete an RPG.
