Breakfast Topic: Roto-scoping is not animation {WoW}

May 12th 2010 10:37AM I can appreciate Kelly's feelings about bad animation, as a programmer I have the same feeling every time someone uses a computer in a movie. Its always the same, tap tap tap on a few random keys and they have produced a program to save the world from aliens, dinosaurs or nuclear apocalypse. In real life of course the aliens and dinosaurs would be chewing on your radioactive corpse long before you got all the bugs out.

For what its worth I think the best use of a computer in a movie or on tv is the "Taranshula" scene in Red Dwarf. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fYAlB1Kxayc
