Blizzard rolls out new Battle.net accounts {WoW}

Mar 21st 2009 2:36PM Actually the penguin you recieved from converting your account was not Pengu. He was called Chilly and had a different appereance.

[UPDATED] Arena Tournament has begun! {WoW}

Feb 25th 2009 10:46PM I'm confused, I thought you had to compete in 200 matches in the last four weeks of the tournament in order to recieve Murkimus the Gladiator and that the first two weeks did not count. At least thats what the FAQ says, did it change?

Rumor: Interview with a 3D modeler from Blizzard {WoW}

Feb 3rd 2009 9:22PM While he is almsot certainly a fraud, there is one thing to remember. Why hasn't Blizzard openly said so? Perhaps he unknowingly was right about a few or more things...

Ask a Lore Nerd: More Scourge love {WoW}

Feb 1st 2009 6:33PM Kevin Gass, that really doesn't answer AndiM's question. He asked who empowered the Lich King since on the Wrath CE behind the scenes DVD they said that Kil'jaeden most certainly did not give him his powers, he just put Ner'zhul's spirit in a helm and hurtled him towards Azeroth, where he then got his powers from some mysterious something. The most recent Blizzcast hints that he might have gotten his powers from Yogg-Saron, the Old God under Northrend.

Ask a Lore Nerd: More Scourge love {WoW}

Feb 1st 2009 5:39PM Are the Knights of the Ebon Blade evil? The dialouge between Tirion and the Ebon Watcher (I won't say who he really is so as not to spoil it for anyone who hasn't been to Icecrown yet and reads these comments) seems to imply that they at least have a rather strong hatred of the holy light, which does send up some warning flags about them, as so far all light hating races have been evil. (I don't think the Orcs, Tauren and Gnomes hate the light, they respect it but don't have any connection with it.)

The Queue: Heirlooms, mounts, and more {WoW}

Jan 15th 2009 9:59PM This is usually the case, but there are some exceptions. According to the lore, High Elves could also have green eyes and gray eyes aside from blue ones, and Blizzard's reflected this in game as the high elf leader Vereesa Windrunner has green eyes, I don't know of any other high elf npcs with different eye colors, but with massive amount added in Wrath I wouldn't be suprised, so their voice emotes would be your best bet.

WoW Insider's predictions for 2009 {WoW}

Jan 1st 2009 1:51PM At Blizzcon they said there will be another raid patched in between Ulduar and Icecrown, but they aren't ready to reveal it yet. My bet is either an Azjol-Nerub raid against Yogg Saron or a troll raid in Gundrak against the Frost King Malakk, who strangely has had no mention in the expansion so far.

Dec 30th 2008 4:31PM There's only one thing I could possibly say in response to this video.

I WISH PONY!

Ask a Lore Nerd: Shared tongues and other oddities {WoW}

Dec 7th 2008 10:48PM They are the "mage hunters" mages who, desperate not to be killed by Malygos, betrayed the Kirin Tor and sided with them so they would have their lives spared. Some of them were enslaved apparently as well.
