Arcane Brilliance: How to be a good PUG mage {WoW}

Dec 13th 2009 10:56AM Even if threat does wipe, the warlock's dots will still be chewing away at him as he finishes landing, effectively giving him a 1-2 second headstart on the tank in full burn-mode, as opposed to the ramp-up that they would usually have.

4-manning is pretty much a given unless the tank decides to taunt before it gets to the lock.

Breakfast Topic: How to be realm-famous {WoW}

Oct 8th 2009 6:41PM My friend and I haven't been on VeCo for about 2-3 years, and Impy still comes up in conversation every month or so. I still remember the one time I grouped with him, for a just-for-fun PuG of BWL about halfway through the T5 era. Everyone in the group was 70, except Impy was like 60 or 61. I remember thinking when I heard him on Vent that he wasn't anywhere near as annoying as he RP'ed. :)

Where's it from?

Breakfast Topic: Why Blizzard should make authenticators mandatory on Battle.net accounts {WoW}

Sep 12th 2009 8:54AM Sorry, Hell No.
I like being able to log into my account without having to worry about where my child has hidden my keys today.
For the minority of us that aren't idiots, and aren't going to sites that are likely selling services that are against the ToS, a regular password is more than secure enough.

Breakfast Topic: I hate {WoW}

Sep 11th 2009 10:36AM Yeah, those always seemed to be a couple levels higher than anything else around them.
It was a major victory the first time me or my friend managed to take one down.
Now we make a point to try and kill a "Swirley" as we called them as early in the leveling process as possible, just as a way of trying to one-up each other.
