Patch 2.3 and you: Professions edition {WoW}

Sep 27th 2007 4:24AM Beeee Esss!

Any casual can get a nether as they drop from normal 70 5-mans as well and with 2.3 even the first boss of Kara and the new Zul Aman bosses will drop nethers, so if mr or ms casual cannot do heroics, if they even attempt to go to kara or the new 10 man, they are pretty much guaranteed one sooner or later.

Even my boyfriend's guild can down Attuman and they are all casuals. Their biggest problem is getting to kara with 10 people and that's it. Once inside it is bloody easy for them even if they have all blues.

Officers' Quarters: Please fill out in full {WoW}

Sep 3rd 2007 3:45PM Half of the forms guilds currently use show a distinct lack of intelligence and a lot of laziness on the side of whoever wrote them.

With the introduction of the armoury questions like "level", "rep", "spec", ect... are obsolete and to be honest if a recruiting officer is not willing to spend time looking at a simple armoury profile I am not sure if I even want to join that guild.

Also while important a lot of guilds seem to focus on "how can you contribute" style questions rather than "what do you want" ones. Half of the application is asking for details that are rather irrelevant (age, location, etc) and the other what they get out of it. It makes a lot more sense to ask what the player wants, what upgrades they plan on getting soon and how they want to get there. You can find out so much more about dedication and interest through that instead of just getting to read what you want to hear (oh your guild is great, you rock so much...).

Breakfast topic: Read the strat! {WoW}

Aug 27th 2007 8:55AM Reading strategies is one thing, which I quite often do, but when you are in a new group you need to hear their version of what they do or rather who does what exactly from the raid leader or the strat officer, just to be sure.

Videos suck. Low res, cluttered and usually boring as hell and hard to figure out. Not worth the bandwidth unless they are really well done.

Shamanistic suggestions {WoW}

Aug 23rd 2007 4:42AM I am not going to call the alliance names now but there is a reason why I only play on the horde these days. Alliance charts are biased by the quantity of people who fail to understand the class (as are horde with paladins tbh though)

Back to the topic though, I think the 'let totems persist through death' option has the largest potential of all.

Shamanistic suggestions {WoW}

Aug 23rd 2007 1:55AM Sorry mate, but the red line in that link you posted are druids and they are the least played class still. You fail.
