For anyone interested in some higher resolution pics or if you want to download it i have my addon uploaded on WoW Interface:
After i submitted this i have started to tweak and change it a bit more but it's kind of morphed into a semi new ui project which i am debating on whether to continue ahead with or just further enhancing this one. I'll be updating the addon on wowinterface sometime this week to include some the changes i have made, such as removing numerous rarely used addons and some screen clutter and some other minor changes i've done.
I was never actually happy with the unit or raid frames in it's current form, the raid frames just sort of sit to the left and feel rather disjointed from the rest UI and i could never a good position for unit frames, i eventually settled on the middle since thats where my eyes and my focus is a majority of the time so it worked at the time.
As for my new UI project it's still heavy under construction and messing around with a lot so it is rather messy. But here are some pics thus far:
A lot has change and most of the unit, party and raid frames still a slightly modified version of my previous layout and i still have to give them a make over. With that said, i'm not finding the unit frames at the top of the UI being all that helpful or functional, though I may be a bit too used to having torwards the bottom. The only thing i really consider completed so far is the chat box, action bar box and cast bar/forte. Even then i have tweaked it a little more since I took those screenies. But as i was saying I'm currently debating on whether to add some of the enhancements/changes to the existing ui or continue working on it as an entirely new ui.

As a former WoWMatrix I am glad to have stopped using it after finding out about it's history.
I gave the Curse Client a whirl and while there is places for improvement it works fine.
Most of the issues people have it can be easily fixed by modifying it's settings through the options menu.
It has done nothing to damage my machine or slow it down in any way. It has crashed once or twice but there is a work around for that as I have found.
I now use a mix of the Curse Client and manual updates for some of my addons. Considering I use around 50 or 60 addons and curse handles most of them I have absolutly no issues.
I can easily tell Curse to ignore updating addons that I want to use an older version or a beta version instead of a release version.
Apr 15th 2009 9:26PM You mean like providing addon developers a place to host their addons for free and also providing a wealth of developement tools like repositories, tracking, auto packing the works

Dec 3rd 2008 6:30PM You do realize most of the hardware in your computer already comes from Asia correct?
Sep 18th 2008 6:57PM If what the blue poster said is true about trying to have arcane mages use more then one spell instead of spamming Arcane Blast. Wouldn't be more justified to loo kat the reason we aren't casting those other spells and make them more viable rather then nerfing Arcane Blast to a state of uselessness. With it how it is right now, they may have well just have deleted the spell altogether.
To me this change just murdered arcane mages nearly entirely.
