Jan 1st 2008 11:23AM And this is the reason I have never even tried to get my epic pally mount. All that? I can just buy an epic mount for so much less. Hordies have it much, much easier.

Oct 4th 2007 11:06PM "Know your roll"
Thats exactly why I don't raid with most people is that they have pigeonholed everyone they game with into certain slots:Tank, DPS, Heal, yada yada yada. Whats fun about that? I have a 62th level "ret" paladin that, until about a month ago, I had no idea what the hell a "ret" paladin was. He is specced how I think the character would be done, because he's, to me, a person. I'm an old school paper gamer, and to me, its much for fun to play that way. But, this game is infinate, and everyone everyone plays the way that makes them happy.
Aug 26th 2007 12:32PM I'm so happy that someone finally is saying positive things. We get far to often bogged down in the "negatives" of this game to realize we much love it soooo much to be bitching about it that bad!
For me, this game came at a good time. I resisted it for sometime because I know when I start something like this it would consume me. But I desperately needed something because for the last 3 years my mother and I had become the primary caregivers for my father, who was dying of Pulminary Disease. I needed something to take my mind off of that, and this game was my escape.
I love exploring. I remember the awe I felt the first time I made it to the Airfield by Ironforge, or the idiocy of swimming from the Sunken Temple to the Wetlands (ya know their's a Dwarven farm on the Eastern Coast of the Arathi Highlands?).
There is so much to do in this game other than just leveling to 70. So much to see and do. There are no other MMO's this rich and inviting, believe me, I tried them all!
Aug 14th 2007 8:00PM Ganking, no matter how you defend it, is immature. If you are 70 and you are killing someone who is 35, the only thing you get out of this is pure sadistic pleasure. That is a hallmark of someone who is just that small in his thinking and his emotional maturity. Yes, it is a pvp realm, and I do expect that the horde and I will duel, and sometimes they win, and sometimes I win. We are at war, after all.
But there is a difference between PVP, which is the battle between characters of the same approximate levels, and Ganking, which is punching the retarded kid.
Aug 9th 2007 11:32PM This may shock many of you, but I have never "speced" any of you. My 62th Lvl Paladin is a Ret paladin, a condition I didn't know I had until I started reading this site and others. I don't raid, I rarely pvp, and I prefer soloing or just running with my friends. For me, it has always been what I felt best for that character that I spent my points in. I guess that comes from my old school gaming background when our characters where more like people to us, and not just piles of numbers.
But everyone has their own play style, and whatever makes it fun for them is what is important.
Aug 6th 2007 8:55PM How will this work when you are at 70? If your not getting any ep, then how does your pet get any? Or gain loyalty? I'm not close to that level yet, but expect to do this someday.
Aug 5th 2007 5:26PM Looking at mounts for my Dwarven Hunter, I thought the Elven Cat fit her better than any other. So I worked from levels 34-36 doing all the quests in the Darnassus starting area, then worked Ashenvale, which has an incredible amount of quests that one can do. Never had to turn any cloth, ran only one instance (Blackfathom Deep) just for the quests, and finished up at lvl 38 exalted.
I want to do the same with the Draenei for my Pally, but getting rep with them at level 63 is just painful. I guess its cloth for me!
