Jan 13th 2010 11:02PM They've mentioned at least one new villain lair coming, and talked in fairly vague terms about a big content push coming early this year. Keep hoping for more info on that. WILL SEND COOKIES, CRYPTIC!

Dec 26th 2009 11:39AM Personally, I'm tired of whining posts from folks who don't actually play the game. If you're not interested, don't read.

Dec 25th 2009 12:56AM Every single game from Atari is discounted heavily in this sale; 7 of the 10 atari games on steam are more heavily discounted than CO.

Aion isn't as heavily discounted because it's from a different publisher.

I'm not saying that CO is perfect or without problems. But I'm tired of reading posts from folks that are just looking to bash the game.

The proof that this is a publisher-driven discount:

Dec 24th 2009 7:05PM Does that mean that because EVE is on sale for $5 it's in twice as much trouble? Or just that sale prices often don't mean much beyond "hey, this is cheaper?

Champions Online launches new demo program {Massively}

Dec 22nd 2009 9:15PM CCon99, they've new content for subscribers, as well. Two seasonal events, a new instance, new quests, a new power set, and updates to the crafting system. This is all since launch 4 months ago, and they've posted on the forums about another update coming early next year.

Coding up free trials aren't the only thing they're doing, in other words.

Dec 22nd 2009 9:10PM The only stink of desperation here is coming off your constant comments on a game you haven't played in months.

Your cries for attention here just amuse the rest of us. You're really bound and determined to live out the "Basement-Dwelling Forum Nerd" stereotype to the fullest, aren't you?

Dec 14th 2009 8:49PM "Granger: There is no reply button, failure."

This is not the matrix. There is a reply button; you just couldn't find it, thus proving his point.

Keep spouting off - you amuse us with how bad you end up looking. :-)

Dec 8th 2009 6:04PM Nemisis Confrontation is out, and it's a lot of fun. The fights aren't very hard, but it's worth running repeatedly just because you get to see what three other folks came up with for bad guys.

Final boss is somewhat harder, and one of those places where you really wish you had a tank if you're in an all-dps group. :-)

Thing to know about the lairs is that the loot isn't great - because the main reward is the tokens you get by running them. In this game, the best tier of gear is token loot. You could solo your way to the best gear in the game, if that's what you want to do.
