Ghostcrawler speaks on Arenas and Battlegrounds {WoW}

Mar 29th 2009 12:00AM If blizzard really wants to make arena's a true measure of 'skill' heres how to do it: Negate gear in arenas.

That is to say, when you go into an arena your stats are automatically set to certain values. Perhaps an incentive to succeed in arenas would be allowing players with high ratings to have a certain amount of flexibility with their stats, such as putting more 'points' into crit rather than hit, etc etc, so on and so forth.

WoW, Casually: Finding the right casual guild (Reader Mail) {WoW}

Mar 28th 2009 2:38PM Brans Believers on Dalaran.

They are a group of casual players that have been playing together for like 10 years through various different games. Also very mature, seeing as the GM is over 50, haha.

But seriously, one of my favorite guilds I've ever been in, no pressure, always willing to help eachother out, its very different then the traditional guild.

Playing WoW off an SD card {WoW}

Jan 10th 2009 1:39AM meh, its cool but probably will turn out to be expensive. a cheaper (because you probably already have one) alternative is something that I've been doing for quite a while: Playing wow off an ipod. You simply copy your files over to y our ipod (put it into mass storage device mode first by holding the center button and up, then when it resets hold the center button and down, then open it like a regular external harddrive) I mean, honestly, I have a 30gig ipod and I only have around 5gigs of music on it, so the other 25gigs is just wasting away anyway. Its a tad bit slower then playing it off a harddrive, or at least the loading screens take longer. I've only ever used it when I wanted to play in a remote location or had a friend over and hooked it up to a laptop/pc that didn't have wow on it. Another nice function is that installing wow and updating it / installing all your addons can take upwards of 3 hours but copying the preexisting wow folder to an external / ipod will only take around 40min.

President Bush dodges a Shaman attack {WoW}

Dec 19th 2008 8:09PM The irony in the whole Bush-shoe fiasco is that despite the fact that he's so damn unpopular, if someone threw a shoe at Hussein he would have them and their families tortured and killed. So I guess we have done something good?

Countdown to Wrath Giveaway Day 0 - Razer Lachesis mouse {WoW}

Nov 13th 2008 7:58PM I'd actually give this to my friend if I won it, he's using an old logitech piece of crap that you need to use two fingers to even click because the thing is so busted. (I was at his house playing wrath for the first time today, and it bugged the crap out of me)
