Sep 17th 2008 10:55AM Good one.

Breakfast Topic: Back to square one {WoW}

Sep 17th 2008 9:58AM I just got a scroll of resurrection from an old guildie. Considering picking it up and go cast some fireballs again. Have been almost a year since I last did so and only hope that I've not lost all my skill.

2000 means nothing in Season 4 {WoW}

Jul 7th 2008 5:37AM The reason we hate arenas is because blizz is completely focused on it and it ruins pve raiding class balance. Just look at how the hunters have been buffed through the roof to get some into the arenas.

WoW is an MMOrpg, not a death match game if you want that go play CS or Halo or whatever the fast twitch teens are into nowadays.

Arcane Brilliance: How to fix Mages {WoW}

Jul 6th 2008 5:27AM Hoho...everyone LOVES SPs in raids. Mana batteries are necessary for any caster class to play its role well in end game boss killing. Your shadowweave has very nice synergy with warlocks' imp. shadowbolts. Mages cry becuase we are so lacking we have to sit out (progress) raids.

The fun of popping in to spamcast AI and conjure a table or two just to be nicely asked to leave so the real dps can down the boss is about as fun as taking a kick to the groin.

Jul 5th 2008 3:19PM Frostfire, from the looks of it (on wotlkwiki) is merely a fix for to lessen the forced respecc for fire immune bosses, and to give fire mages a snare for leveling. It is less dps than fireball, and if it remains as is will play little to no role in high end raiding.

Arcane Brilliance: How to fix Mages {WoW}

Jul 5th 2008 3:04PM idd....jaw-dropping dps rings a bell.

I have zero trust in anything Chilton says about mages. The fact that Blizz assured us, months after BC launch, that mages still were on top of dps charts like they should be (in their own words) makes Chilton et al. as reliable a source of information as Mohammad Saeed al-Sahhaf.

Arcane Brilliance: A squishy year in review {WoW}

Feb 16th 2008 6:56PM Funny column and mostly I agree with it, all but the Evocation change is a buff statement in fact. I went from evo giving me 80%+ back (with full raid buffs and spirit weapons ofc), to 60%.

2.4 helped with the new gems, but I'm still mad at the Evo nerf. (Didn't help that I had spent around 500g to get the most uber spi weapons out there a week before the patch notes were released.)

Forum post of the day: These are the people in your raid {WoW}

Feb 16th 2008 6:43PM I quit a guild over a significant other. Yes she played a huntard. We were in kara at the time, she had no clue about dps or cc. She would (despite being the best geared hunter in the guild) often sit behind the MT on damage output.

I started actively looking for a new guild when she 3 times in a row moved in the flames at Shade, the 2nd and 3rd time after yelling out focus in vent. Seeing as she was always there, and I figured it'd be a bad idea to tell the GM that he should /gkick or at least leave her off the raids I left for good guild, that has since downed Illidan, while the guild I left behind struggles in SSC and TK.
