Sep 21st 2010 6:25AM Someone has mentioned that Westfall appears to be under attack by fire elementals, but I can't confirm that. I've also read a report that air elementals were in Southshore area.
However, I did find water elementals attacking various locations in Silverpine Forest, which was fun! The murlocs were fighting them.
Aug 31st 2010 1:38PM Nah, the We Are Legendary achievement is the exception here.
"We are making a exception for this guild achievement. Any legendary items you have already earned will count. "
Feb 6th 2010 7:47PM Yep, this is massively different this year and a whole lot of fun.
Beaten the Shadowfang bosses a few times. Judging by General chat in there, a lot of people seem to not be understanding the mechanics of the fight. It's essentially more "stay out of the fire" stuff, but matching colors too.
The drops were fairly nifty. Every kill threw us an ilvl 226 neck piece with a suitably icky love related name. One kill gave us a new Toxic Wasteling pet. And there's a mount too, though we didn't see that.
Dec 31st 2008 3:34PM Something people on my server seem to be missing is that if you use /dance on a Reveler NPC, you get a +10% to all stats buff.
Just throwing it out there so nobody else misses it. :)
Nov 17th 2008 6:08AM What I'm really impressed with is how the quest rewards look like they fit together.
Not quite like a set, but not far off either.
It would seem they learnt from the mistake of making us all look like clowns in Outland.
Nov 10th 2008 10:53AM I have a 9600GT and there were some problems during the PTR of 3.0.
I submitted a report and the problem isn't there in the Live one.
Most of the time I see these problems it seems to be from people with NVIDIA cards. Updating drivers never seems to work.
One thing I have seen that often fixes it is simply getting a more powerful PSU.
Nov 10th 2008 7:09AM What, 9000?!
Nov 7th 2008 11:00AM I would love to win one of those things. :)
Oct 28th 2008 7:47AM If there is one main complaint I have about Warcraft events it's that they always seem to fizzle out in this manner.
You wake up and they're gone, no sign of them having existed.
I think it would be cool if there was a day of "cooldown" for events.
So for example, the day after Brewfest would see a few crumpled tents remaining, people packing up, the odd NPC unconcious here and there, that sort of thing.
It would really add to the flavour of these things and help to maintain the idea that something happened to the world.
