Oct 27th 2008 12:14PM Rather oddly, there actually aren't any questlines letting us know these guys are in there.
Sorry, only level 70s get quests.
Oct 27th 2008 11:52AM Took down Scorn last night, at the appropriate level and everything! Plenty for us lowbies to do, not sure why people are threatening to cancel their accounts really.
Got the mail gloves, for reference. Very nice for my paladin. :)
Oct 22nd 2008 7:05PM Infected the flight master in Crossroads and created a super strong zombie that easily took down a lot of things.
Oct 14th 2008 1:17PM First thing I'll do is carry on levelling up as normal.
Maybe get a haircut as I pop to Undercity for new skills.
Oct 14th 2008 10:44AM I am a massive fan of the achievement system.
It really does seem as if there is something in there for every single player to do.
I love all the silly little achievements that the "hardcore playerbase" (do we have to keep using that term?) would probably scoff at, but they themselves have their own set anyway.
I really feel like it's going to be tough for people to moan about lack of things to do for a long while.
Even if you can't get a group for a dungeon, there's no raid, you don't feel like arenas and battlegrounds... Well, you can just pick an achievement from the list and get to it!
Yeah, loving it.
Oct 14th 2008 9:42AM And now I'm really wishing that Blizzard will add "Tome of Polymorph: 8-Year-Old Girl".
It might help stop people from hitting my sheep in PuGs.
"Aww, how can I bring myself to hit a little girl?"
Oct 14th 2008 9:21AM I recently rolled a new character with my fiancée and decided that, because it was close, I would wait for Echoes of Doom and choose Inscription as my profession.
Because we are in the levelling process right now, though (level 30), I can get all the herbs I need myself. I've saved everything I've picked so far, of course, but it's not an amazing amount and it's mostly tier 1 and tier 2 herbs. I'll be able to see how Inscription works if you are following a natural progression and not power levelling it at 70.
My only concern is that some of those herb numbers seem quite high, almost as if it was indeed aimed at those who would power level it. I hope I'm wrong and that it has a steady progression up to the higher levels.
Oct 14th 2008 8:37AM I dunno, it feels like the start of a slippery slope to me.
If they do this and they see it's lucrative, then they'll probably extend the service to other things.
Who knows how long before we can buy Heirloom items with our credit cards?
I guess as long as they can restrict themselves to things that are purely cosmetic, in the same way that achievements and TCG loot currently does, it wouldn't be so bad.
But please, Blizzard, don't see dollar signs in your eyes and end up offering gear...
Jul 26th 2007 12:14PM Please let me win :)
