Blood Sport: How to beat a Warlock {WoW}

Dec 6th 2007 12:12PM Grow up and stop whining already. This was an interesting article. It's very informative for people who have not played a lock or have been having trouble going head to head with one.

Forum post of the day: Do away with racials! {WoW}

Nov 6th 2007 1:25PM I play undead because they're cool. WOTF is just a bonus. I skipped over an Orc hunter for a Troll because they look cooler. Racials don't determine anything for me. I wouldn't miss them but I don't think they should be removed.

Another option for new content: factional class flipping? {WoW}

Oct 10th 2007 6:18PM I see absolutely no reason why every race shouldn't be able to pick every class from the beginning.

It made sense back when there was only paladin on Alliance and shaman on Horde but now...

Perhaps I'm just biased. I love being Horde but have had an itch to level a gnome priest since I started playing.

The twink experience (and toggling XP) {WoW}

Aug 30th 2007 6:11PM I have to agree with both sides of the argument and throw in an idea of my own to help the two come to a compromise.

In support of an xp toggle it is the twinks that purchase most of your greens and blues from the Auction House. It can be fun to play with a 'maxed out' character, just at a lower level with more specialized combat techniques.

Since supporting the xp toggle would 'enable' more twinks there is a way to avoid the problems that 'regular' player would encounter in BGs. Blizzard could simply tier the BGs to allow players of matching gear level averages into BGs with each other. The armory already assigns these numbers, it couldn't be that difficult to build a BG system around that. I imagine it sort of like a light weight, medium weight and heavy weight system.
