Apr 25th 2010 12:10PM Haha. What a little turd.
Apr 19th 2010 2:48PM The first time I heard Blind Guardian's "Nightfall In Middle-Earth."
Apr 17th 2010 6:19PM But are they clouds... or just bushes pretending to be clouds?
Apr 9th 2010 9:34PM I guess the point I'm trying to make is that I appreciate the technical skill and songwriting of metal bands like Megadeth, Opeth, Nile, and a whole slew of others, but it doesn't always have to be about that. But there's still something about certain punk bands like Screeching Weasel, Bad Religion, and Green Day's older stuff that's pretty damn enjoyable for all of its raw, no-frills brilliance.
Apr 9th 2010 9:27PM I agree, Rust In Peace is just awesome and my favorite Megadeth album. You shouldn't discount punk completely, however. A lot of early thrash metal acts (Megadeth included) carry heavy influence from bands like the Ramones, Misfits, and the Germs.
Apr 9th 2010 9:21PM I still have a lot of nostalgia for Green Day from my youth. And I mean that literally: "Dookie" was the first album - on cassette, mind you - that I ever bought with my hard-earned allowance money. I was 12. But as much as I love "Dookie" and "Insomniac," I just couldn't get into any Green Day albums that were released after that. Some DLC from their Lookout Records days and Pinhead Gunpowder (Billie Joe's other band) would sweeten the deal enough to warrant a purchase...
Mar 31st 2010 12:09PM Seeing the Lost Labyrinth Zone footage in the above comment actually renewed my interest in this. Very nice emphasis on (gasp) actual platforming! Dude keeps losing rings because he's trying to play it like Sonic Rush or something.
Mar 30th 2010 9:17PM One is going to be Spider-Man 2099. I'd be willing to bet on it. The fourth? I'm going to say it right now: Spider-Girl. WATCH.
Mar 26th 2010 2:46PM I'm glad the ignorant masses have you as their white knight, aristokrat, but common sense dictates that "available with full retail purchase" (as stated on the box!) means just that - and he didn't pay full retail price for his game. It really doesn't get much simpler than that. Sorry, but as much as I dislike Gamestop as a company, it's difficult for me to feel any sympathy for this guy.
