Why is Blizzard still OK with gender inequality in World of Warcraft? {WoW}

Apr 3rd 2012 4:57PM Hey, it's the author of the forum thread.

I've been harassed in-game (out of game too) by WoW players multiple times. I truly believe that there are people lucky enough to not have been harassed, why can't you believe that I have?

On top of that, I'm okay with people disagreeing with me on my assessment of Ji, but be respectful that just because it doesn't bother YOU doesn't mean other people can't be bothered by it.

HTH.

Arcane Brilliance: 5 ways to increase your mage's DPS right now {WoW}

Jan 14th 2012 8:10PM As another mage blogger, I have to say you continue to nail it. A lot of mages really don't know the benefit of hitting the books to speak - researching fights and acceptable number crunching but also just getting your hands dirty. Learning a fight and seeing it over and over again, asking elder mages what kind of little tricks they use is just as important as having the best gear and whatnot. Skill and keybinds and practise make a mage truly great!

Love your column as always.

Tuesday Morning Post: Good night, sweet corgi edition {WoW}

Jan 3rd 2012 9:24AM I just want that corgi. I don't care what I have to grind or bosses I have to kill. Legendaries? Pfah.

That corgi is the legendary pet of my heart.

Arcane Brilliance: A preliminary look at the Pandaria talent tree for mages {WoW}

Oct 29th 2011 3:28PM Remember that you can change your talents per-fight/on the fly as the situation demands. I suspect that if any fights has a vanish-able mechanic that you'll opt for Imp. Invisibility rather than Cauterize, and vice versa if a fight has a "insta-death" mechanic. If it has both, I guess it is "living to do DPS" and "getting out of shit to do DPS" decision.

My real disappointment is how we're getting spec-based talents as our level 90 talents that we had before fairly early in the talent trees before. Do I really want Blastwave to be my giant blow-out level 90 talent? Not really. It makes me upset as a lot of people are getting completely new, lore-based talents and we're getting...Blastwave and Slow. Oh boy. Be still my beating heart.

Oct 26th 2011 12:00PM What's there to be honest about Corpsegrinder? Does WI really need to spell it out to people that he's a terrible homophobe and needs less press than he has been getting? I hope that was severely evident to everyone with half a brain.

Arcane Brilliance: Mage wishlist, late 2011 edition {WoW}

Sep 17th 2011 7:53PM This isn't Rift. I don't want to heal. I didn't sign up to be a mage to heal, I signed up to be a DPS class. :|
