Around Azeroth Beta Edition: Slimed! {WoW}

Sep 19th 2010 9:35PM I'd guess it's the usual gold quest marker with a green aura.

Guest Post: Top 10 opportunities to go AFK in raids {WoW}

Jul 3rd 2010 11:05PM This was a great article. Thank you. It was something I could immediately identify with, and still learn something from it. I liked how the humour is there for the reader to find in their own recollection, as is clearly expressed so well in the reader comments.

Win a copy of "The Guild Leader's Handbook" by Scott Andrews {WoW}

May 11th 2010 9:04PM I'm looking forward to reading this.

Insider Trader: Building the better bank alt {WoW}

Jan 22nd 2010 7:15PM I don't know if it's accurate, but I've heard that characters below level 10 cannot be recovered from backup in the case of an error. So if you find your bank alt storing any significant amount of wealth, you may want to level it to at least 11.

I prefer Thunder Bluff as Horde and Ironforge as Alliance. Orgrimmar lags at times, Undercity is annoying with its ledges, and Silvermoon auctioneers tend to get killed with annoying regularity on my server. Stormwind bank is annoying to get into at times, and Darnassus and Exodar have too much travel time.

Raid Rx: Are you ready to heal Icecrown? {WoW}

Dec 18th 2009 7:03PM There are 4 healing classes. Matt, please level a druid.
Or at least please stop ignoring them in your healer focussed posts.
Most 25-man raid leaders I see are happy to see a tree in their instance.
Restos offer excellent raid healing, tank healing, utility, and flexability to a raid.
We have 8 healing spells at out disposal, which when properly employed offer substantial raid, sustained and burst heals.

Cataclysm races leaked {WoW}

Aug 11th 2009 4:11AM Before the launch of BC, there were rumours about those Broken.
That little camp in the corner of Swamp of Sorrows.
I remember riding down there and looking at them thinking, this will be a playable race?
Then we got the Draenei.

How many people work at Blizzard for months developing new content?
How many people work at Blizzard in IT or Accounts or QA?
How many work in the art department?
There are so many people with inside information.

Could this all be a red herring? Or course.

The Daily Quest: Tanking, esports, and comics {WoW}

Jul 17th 2009 11:11PM Hoping to find some insightful comments, I followed the link to the Rolling HoTs blog. Damn, it was disappointing to read that tirade of puerile fashionista crap.
The critisism wasn't even meaningful. Please don't encourage behaviour like that by linking to it.

The sin of Tab targeting {WoW}

Jul 8th 2009 12:20AM Can you please stop referencing Proximo?

It hasn't been updated on Curse for 8 months now.

Breakfast Topic: Where will you be honor grinding in Patch 3.2? {WoW}

Jun 28th 2009 8:34AM I'll continue with WSG and AB so I can get my pvp title.

Guide to Midsummer Fire Festival achievements part II {WoW}

Jun 19th 2009 1:43AM I'm dreading the torch juggler. There seems to be a lot of these X items in Y seconds achievements, and they can be a nightmare to do with Australian latencies. In the past, I've needed to make special arrangements to be on at the quietest time of the day, pick up 10x the amount of items required, and hope to get lucky. I use my Quartz mod to try and get that slight edge on the latency, but it is still outrageously frustrating.
