WoW Insider's guide to Warlord Zon'ozz {WoW}

Dec 10th 2011 12:53AM No, it doesn't have a cast time, but there is a timer for it. The first one is usually very soon after the void spawns. I normally start spinning the boss around as he's still channelling the void, and when i get him facing the right way, I click my TB trinket and he does the drain.

Have emblems ruined heroics? (Hint: no) {WoW}

Feb 3rd 2010 5:03AM I really hate people like the healer in this guy's post. I'm a tank, and the ONLY person's gear I half way check out is the healers. Not because I'm going to bail on the group if the guy/gal has "crappy" gear or anything like it. I do it as a gauge of how much to pull, and how fast. I also try and let the group know ahead of time to let me know to slow down if they need me to. I try and keep an eye on the healer's mana as well, in case they need to take a mana break.

Overall, the heroics are easy. I fell asleep the other night in one. There's no challenge in them at my gear level. I do them for the badges (frost and triumph - free gems! lol), for some quick cash, and to help people out. I really could care less if every person in the group showed up in greens. Sure, I like the nice and fast runs, but meh, not everyone gets to raid ICC 10 and 25 each week like I do.

I do have to admit I don't chit chat alot during the runs, or ask if people need the fights explained to them. Something I should probably work on :-)

Ghostcrawler: "Players are going to freak when they see Cataclysm gear" {WoW}

Nov 20th 2009 9:09AM This has been said of every expansion, I'll be replacing my epics with greens. Not about when BC came out, I rerolled a Belf Pally, but from BC to Wrath I there was only a few Epics replaced with rares, and none replaced with Greens. I doubt there will be much of that either come expansion time, with the level cap only being 5 levels.

I could very well be wrong, and it'll probably strongly depend on where your gear is from as well. Currently mine is mostly TotGC/Ulduar gear. With that one damn Naxx cloak because no other tanking cloaks want to drop! :-/

World of Warcraft Patch 3.2 Paladin Guide {WoW}

Aug 4th 2009 3:47PM Most prot builds used the 9696 roation for max threat, and that didn't include Exorcism. Using that rotation, everyone of your main threat/tank abilities (Judgement, Holy Shield, Consecreation, Hammer of the Righteous, Shield of Righteousness) were used as they came off of CD with no downtime, besides waiting for a GCD. Exorcism was a situational use such as a ranged pull, or something like that. Overall, that change to a cast time should effect prot spec tanking.

Aug 4th 2009 3:22PM Just be mindful that the amount healed is based on your defense rating. 540 gives you the full 30% heal, I believe.

Aug 4th 2009 3:15PM You seem to have gotten the AD effect all wrong, as well as Guarded by the Light. You get the 30% heal if a blow would KILL you.. once every 2 minutes. Any damage that would take you below 35% health is reduced. That's what is no longer leapfrogged.

Wrath 101: Factions and reputation {WoW}

Nov 21st 2008 4:16PM I think Gundrak is a pre-80 instance... at least it didn't require us to have all level 75 or higher players like Lightning did... and wowwiki shows it as a pre 80 instance.

Thanks for this article though... I'm at the point of where I'm going to start working on rep.
