This is the exact problem with circle of healing. Because it is so smart, there was no reason to cast anything else, and since you don't target anything you just sit and mash that button. For a little while its fun to faceroll through an instance, but mashing one button that says "heal everything that needs healing" is not most healers' idea of fun. Thats not why we spec'd holy or resto.
Some resto shaman sit and mash chain heal, but at least there you are actively selecting the player who needs the biggest heal, and the rest is smart. It still "feels" like healing. CoH spam does not feel like healing at all.
Jan 12th 2009 2:46PM Wow, the resto shaman builds this thing lists for raiding are pretty bad.
Half of them take 25% mana reduction for totems in the first tier over .5 seconds off Healing Wave cast time. With totem durations increased to 5 minutes (not to mention you can pre-cast them before a boss fight), this talent has absolutely NO place in a raiding build.
The other half all take Ancestral Awakening, which is a really underwhelming use of 3 talent points. Last time I had it, it accounted for about ~2% of my healing in a raid. Sure, it has its uses in a gimmick crit-based lesser healing wave build, but thats getting nerfed this patch, so we should be learning how to heal without LHW spam.
Jan 8th 2009 4:00PM This was hotfixed so that it no longer resets cooldown or even drops combat in a raid. You may be able to drop combat if you are the last one standing and you hit shadowmeld and the boss can't find you, but it doesn't reset the potion cooldown in a raid any more.
Jan 8th 2009 3:56PM On a raid boss, it no longer drops combat, so no you can't do this (at least anymore). Maybe in a 5 man, but do you really need to drop combat in a 5 man?

What? Have you read the post? You are saying you would rather hit the node once, get 1 piece of ore, get the skill up, and run away (this is how it currently works) vs hit the node once, get ALL the ore (and other stuff) and then run away? So, you want less ore before you run away?
Read the change again.... I will wait..... Now do you get it? You only need to hit the node once. That level 80 who was going to gank you now has less time to do it before you have both your skill up and all of your ore. You are thinking of the exact opposite.

Dec 10th 2008 5:17PM Cooking? Anyone? You can only get 1 (chance of 2) tokens per daily quest.... and those same tokens are used to buy a reagent. I will tell you what, the good buff food is selling like hotcakes because of the shortage, and I for one and real happy it isn't easier to level/craft.
Dec 8th 2008 2:53PM Listen, PvE players can't use badges of justice (level 70 badges) on new badge gear. PvP players get to use the same honor and marks accrued at 70 to buy level 80 gear.
Honor should have been wiped at 71, and the new honor gear should have been available from the start of wrath. I honestly don't understand why there is so much complaining here that you can't spend honor you earned at 70 to buy level 80 stuff right away. PvE players can not spend their level 70 badges on ANY level 80 gear, EVER.
