Jun 30th 2009 3:17AM "Skeleton Jack is back, and this time covering the 10 Best in Slot Death Knight Bracers."
Just an observation, but isn't a best in slot item just that? How can there be 10 of them? Shouldn't that be titled: "The 10 best Death Knight bracers" At most there should be "3 best" as there may be 1 that is a better fit for each talent build, but even that's stretching the point.
May 12th 2009 2:48AM How can any self respecting Horde say that Silvermoon is so far out of the way? Take the damn portal from UC you lazy people! it goes both ways and you can get there from Org just fine.
Alliance is the only ones that had problems and since they changed the boats around you get a free run to Stormwind from anywhere now. No more Wetlands death runs for Night Elves and Dreanei.
Anybody that QQ's about the JC trainer's locations is just a lazy whiner IMO. I agree they need to add more trainer locations but holy crap how easy does Blizz need to make this game?
Apr 17th 2009 4:44PM I can get to the builds no problem, the problem I have is being able to print them off. Since Blizz updated the Armory to dual spec there's no ability to get a print version. Printing the page is useless as the detail doesn't come thru at all. So now it looks like ALT/TAB to check specs when you're dialing in your toons. Come on Blizz how hard was it to leave the option to print?

"You HAVE to be kidding me ._.
No class at ALL should be able to nullify other classes for such a duration *cough*priests*cough*."
and how does that differ from a Pally or Priest bubble, or a Mage Ice Block?
I disagree, COS doesn't ALWAYS work as advertised and should be fixed. Blind and run isn't always the solution either as you get dazed when running away with your back turned, and I know how to strafe but that's not always an option. The article is merely stating facts that Rogues have more of our abilities affected by RNG than most others and by fixing some we can be more useful to our Raids or PVP teams.
Mar 1st 2009 5:23PM Why isn't there a portal in the capital cities with the other battlemasters? It's really a pain to have to get back to Dalaran so you can get into WG.
And on that subject, why not a portal to Dalaran from the capitals and Shatt once you get to 80, or even pay 1000 G for the ability to use the portals for anybody above level 70 as long you have your hearth set to Dalaran.
Feb 16th 2009 11:05PM A couple things......
@Devant: Are you serious?
The reason a druid should come in over a lock is that druids are a class that were designed to feasibly tank. You can claim warlocks are viable tanks until you're blue in the face, but the fact of the matter is that they weren't designed for it. Warlocks were designed as a pure DPS class, and the devs expect that to be their main use.
Nobody is bringing two druids to the raid specifically to discriminate against you. It's not WARLOCK DISCRIMINATION. It's probably luck of the draw (in the case of a pug) or hierarchy of the guild ranks (in the case of a guild).
Warlocks have never been a tank-intended class. Druids have been for a long time -- not since the start of WOW, sure, back when Resto was the only workable spec, but for a long, long time. Hunters aren't intended to tank, either. Sure, they can, in a pinch, but the fact of the matter is that the intent of your class always outweighs your whining (yes, it's whining) about how much blizz loves Druids and Pallies more than you.
In summary, go QQ more. Possibly on the forums, then we don't have to read it."
First of all, your post seems to smell a lot like QQ to me, yes the makeup of raid groups depends on whether it's a PUG or a regular Guild group, but it doesn't matter what classes go as long as the group accepts the setup and accepts the risks of attempting the fight. Ever heard of a Mage tanking in Gruul? Ever heard of a Rogue tanking in BT? Who cares if it's not traditional? I think that would make the encounter a hell of a lot more entertaining and deserving of an achievement if you were actually successful, more so than just banging away like the masses of current traditional raid groups.
That would translate into:
Don't fix stuff that makes the game easy. it's not easy enough already, just leave stuff like that in there, yea mages can solo a whole quarter of naxx 25 man but hey not everyone's playing a mage right? VW can tank Sarth with 3 drakes because our main tank is just out of heroics and doesn't have enough HP for it, oor we can actually use a disc priest and kill Sarth with another fun little bug there, right, the game is more fun with bugs that let us do content we wouldn't be able to do otherwise."
The majority of people view these types of stories for the entertainment value as they were intended. There are always going to be those that see them as a platform for their pet peeves.
I can almost guarantee you that the rest of the characters in the raid with the "Lock" all accepted the fact that they were in for a few wipes in order to try this.
I can also imagine the excitement on their vent channels when each of the drakes dropped and at the end when Sarth fell.... I say props to all of them for attempting it and allowing the "Lock" to try it in the first place.
Finally, I want to say thanks to them for showing it to us, I'm sure there will be others that try to mimic it and I hope they succeed, and why not? It's not a "BUG" or a "GLITCH" or cheating, it's innovation not an exploit. The lock had to run quite a bit to get the gear he had in order to attempt this.
If Blizz decides to change things in order to make this harder you can bet there will be somebody else that will find a way to do something else like this and we will have this same conversation again.
Rather than complain about what hasn't happened or what might happen, just enjoy the story and this innovative guild's achievement for the entertainment value.
Feb 7th 2009 10:46PM I like the idea but why have a stipulation that the items needs to be X levels below your current? Just throw armor in one and weapons in the other and be done with it. The big issue is do you make it a bag slot or a tab on your character screen? I vote for the latter as it would generate a lot more storage for everybody and not create a new market for overpriced crafted items.
Dec 10th 2008 4:26PM So now you "non-casuals" get to QQ... get over yourself and give the guy his props.
Dec 6th 2008 2:12PM Better yet, why not just allow the talent to determine if there is a disease on the target and allow the damage based on the number of diseases on the target no matter which DK or Lock put them there.
You can still have only one ebon plague per target and if it's on the target then all DK's in the party or raid get the benefit.
Dec 2nd 2008 8:11PM Agreed, ever roll an undead and poison the prisoner in the basement of the Brill Inn? Alliance has at least 3 of these "poison the prisoner in the dungeon" quests in Northrend alone. So if you're going to play with morality as your lead you'll have some tough times completing many quest lines. I admit that it seems kinda wrong but then again....this is a game and the "victims" are cartoons. So there, I'm over it and now I'm going to go kill some more.
