WoW.com reviews Richard A. Knaak's Stormrage {WoW}

Feb 23rd 2010 5:04PM Man am I glad to see that other people feel the same way about this author's work. I thought the WoW comic was decent (not great, but about what I'd expect from Wildstorm), but the War of the Ancients novels? Ugh. I couldn't even get through the first book!! I read RA Salvatore for fun and, while his writing style sometimes bothers me, he's freakin' Shakespeare compared to Knaak.

On another note, if you want to read some really GOOD licensed science fiction and/or fantasy, I recommend Drew Karpyshyn's Mass Effect novels and David Gaider's Dragon Age novels. It's no surprise that the books written by lead writers for ME and DA are *gasp!* well written, but I WAS surprised at just HOW well written they actually were. Highly recommended.

Jade Raymond to head up Ubisoft Toronto, focusing on AAA games and new IPs {Joystiq}

Aug 31st 2009 4:10PM I'm confused by all the bannings. Are people really that juvenile?

As for Jade Raymond, I was surprised and disappointed to learn she wasn't working on AC2 since the first game was a hit. Glad to see she's still around and got a promotion to boot!. I wish her well.

PTR 3.0.2 Patch Notes {WoW}

Sep 14th 2008 3:18AM Shouldn't that be "devilsaur tooth" instead of "devilsaur eye" for the last paragraph in Items? Devilsaur Tooth guarantees a critical hit by your pet, Devilsaur Eye increases the hunter's attack power...

The fact that they were able to recreate on film what is arguably one of Frank Miller's finest works is truly amazing. Even the color palette was spot-on.
